Finally the Warden healer the Hist Keeper is here for The Elder Scrolls Online in the Scalebreaker update! Everything you need to know about how to HEAL and BUFF with this build, fully explained and even a PROPER demonstration on how to be effective as hell with Olorime's (lets just say there are far too many firing that into a corner lol ). Finally figured out his cosmetics and listed how to get them. We finally found the list kings.

I loved this video! Great build. One of my main is a warden healer but it's a breton. I use a lot of the skills you mention but my back bar is mostly damage or off balance abilities. I may have to switch out my destruction staff and abilities to all healing like this build for the tough situations like trials and the tougher vet dungeons. Especially when I know the groups dps is set. Really good build. Its given me a lot to think about. But please update it if you can for greymoor.

Enchanted Forest can only give you 20 Ultimate back, as it only heals the most injured friendly with the initial heal. It cannot replenish itself to full when hitting 5+ targets, unfortunately...

One thing I noticed is Enchanted Forrest only heals 1 person initially and you can also get only 20 ult back if they are sub 50%. Still a fantastic ult, just wanted to make you aware.

What’s the best way to grind levels atm? I haven’t played ESO is like 2 years and i just reinstalled. I started a new character that’s an argonian warden.
Isaak Johnson having a high level run you through skyreach catacombs is probably the best way. There's some players who will do it for free

This may sound like a dumb question but I am new I was watching your video enjoying it actually thinking of turning my argon in into this guy because she's already a healer right up until you got to the champion points your champion points look way different than mine so the question is would this work on PC as well or is the Xbox and the PC different enough that it wouldn't work

different passives to consider but yes it will work. YOu can pick any race you like you will just need to be aware of what you lose and gain if trying to push it's limits :)

Major Ward seems to be gone from Expansive Frost Cloak, now.
Do I have to buy the Bones DLC to be able to wear Jorvuld's Guidance or can I have someone else make it and still be able to wear it, without having the DLC
it only drops in the dungeon and is bound on pick up, sadly
I got a couple of questions here.
Why not using Blockade of Storms, to set enemies off balance or elemental drain, to regain magicka and lower the resistance off the targets?
Was gonna ask the exact question, that’s what I’m building now.
Meta/tradition for healers AND tanks has been to both slot Blockade for the off balance chance. TBH if the tank is already using a lightning staff, it's a bit redundant due to the cooldown on minor vulnerability. As for no Ele Drain, you can definitely substitute in Siphon Spirit to get the minor magickasteal since tanks have Pierce Armor/Unnerving Boneyard for both magicka and physical resist debuff. Xynode generally makes it a point to reiterate that you definitely can/should tweak so it fits the situation you're in, especially in differences between Trials and dungeons. If you'd like to go more meta, then you can use an Olo lightning staff in order to keep the Master's Resto for the stamina return.
electricfish Thanks for the response, I am making a warden healer and I would like some advice on sets. I checked out alcast page and he has a build but I don’t have any trials gear. His beginner set says to use sanctuary, worms raiment and kagrenacs hope. I am not really a fan of kagrenacs is their something better I can use that is not trial gear. Thanks in advance.

This is the third Warden healer build I've looked at today, and they all are very strong on heals, extremely weak on DPS. Is that just the way it is for the Warden?
Yea warden's dps isn't the best. Warden healers aren't really good at that, but make up for it in other ways. It's why warden healers tend to be hit or miss because a lot of people don't play to the warden's strengths and don't bring the utility skills that set the warden apart. If you aren't rocking the warden's strengths you fall flat compared to other healers. But if you play to the warden's strengths you'll outperform any other healer in certain categories. For example you'll never beat a plar in dps but you'll crush a plar in team buffs. Just depends on what your group needs :)

Could be a stupid question but if I swapped to sword and board for the full set bonus on the back bar that wouldnt affect heals really as the restoration staff abilities are on the front bar. That would also allow me to get the full set bonus. Would this be viable? I know you explain in both the video and written guide that this is the optimal setup. Just an idea. I dont expect a reply as you mention in all the videos any content covered etc.
A staff counts as two pieces for the set bonuses!

its Blackmarrow Necromancer Skin, you can get one by completing the Scalecaller Peak Challenger Achievement, in the Scalecaller Peak Dungeon.
@xynode gaming you say the extra damage done buff is not relevant, but don't heals get affected by damage modifyers as well?
Nope. Spell damage and max magicka affect heals as does HEALING DONE. But increased damage from minor or major slayer is for damage NOT heals. :)

Why are your divines traits only 7.5%? They should be 9% for gold.
Is this pretty much the same? I'm a new healer what sets should I use to heal scalecaller peak to get the set
How does this work in soloing the quest line? Since it has no damage? Can we swap to destro for back line weapon and when we go into pve grouping just equip the resto back and go double resto?
I add a destro to my back bar when I go into PvE and add skill lines from there than go back to resto when in group. :D

Hey xynode what's an alternative as far as the gear if I don't the dlc for scalecaller?
I think Jorvuld is the only set that gives the elongated buff times. I would maybe go with a set that also gives buffs (like Spell Power Cure) and just expect to do your rotation faster.
How does he have enough patience to grind all of these abilities
most of them are on pts so near enough all of the hard work/grinding is already done
Maybe I overheard it but is it in any way important to have illustriuos healing on the front bar or can i switch it with sanguine altar. Would be simpler to play if i have both AOE Heals on one bar

What is the best armour to use while you aim for the sets?
You can use different healer sets like sanctuary, worms, I can also recommend eyes of Mara or cold harbors favorite which are both craftable sets

the staff does different stuff now (works for mag AND stam not just stam) but still solid (all rounder buff in some situations). Apart from that the build is still absolutely fine. So nope, carry on as normal ;)
