i must of got a bad one. because mine will not stay on and im past the return period. I just found this video, so this wasnt the reason i bought it. When it was working my plants were doing well. i noticed an issue as the orange light for the 8hr was constantly turn off when i got home and my plant leafs are growing up, which means its reaching for light. I tried just turning it on before i left, but it turned off sometime. Ill see if moving it to a different outlet changes things.
Mine is still working thankfully. That sucks. Have you tried to contact the Amazon seller privately? If you click on the seller name on the product page you can send them a message and tell them that your light is not working and you need a replacement. Sometimes if you explain to them that you wanted to contact them before calling Amazon customer service, they will accommodate you even after the 30 days have passed. I've done that with another seller of a different product before and the seller sent me a new item for free. I told them before I leave a review I was hoping they would rectify this and they did. Maybe it will work for you. Good luck.
Very cool I'm going to be growing some vegetables indoors. Those might come in handy.

for herbs I think you need a lamp that has UV so the leaves would produce those flavor compounds.
do these gooseneck USB lamps produce UV rays?

A lot of people say these are a waste of money. I have a couple and would be interested to know if they are any good to get seedlings growing
Last summer I grew all my vegetable seedlings indoors with them on a 6 foot long dining room table. It helped me grow many different varieties of beans, basil, all kinds of tomato plants, arugula, oregano, lettuce, etc... They grew on my table until they were ready to be transplanted outside. I used two sets of these lights to cover all 6 feet adequately because not enough natural sunlight ever comes in that room.

Yes! I am actually using them to help grow indoor citrus trees right now. I am using them in conjunction with GE full spectrum bulbs. One of my trees has lemons on it already and the orange tree is sprouting all new leaves.
Would these grow tomato indoors all the way to fruiting?
It should, but I cannot answer that comment truthfully. I have only grown tomatoes, veggies and herbs from seeds with this and then planted the young plants outdoors.
I got one new from Amazon today and I come to find that it won't even turn on. Such a bummer!

whats the life span of the light
Bought a couple of these and been using them for a week to start seeing indoors. So far the seedlings are doing good! I'm just using the white light. Tbh idk what color of light I'm supposed to be using and the difference other than the colors. Has anyone had any success with these lights?
My seedlings do well with the purple/blue color and also the white light. I usually notice the seedlings grow faster at first with the purple blue lights, and then I switch to the white light when they get a little more mature.
I applied for the account and it is terrible because I cannot find anything for hydroponics or LED lights that could be used.I think it's just a scam

@@FuturesPast1 Thank you, and how much success have you had with your girl lights? Because I didn't think I'm buying those kinds for my tower hydroponic system. I was gonna buy two of those flights and put it at each side of it.
@@robertboyd6475 I will be honest with you. I have only used these for starting seedlings indoors in soil on my dining room table. I had over 25 veggie plants in 4-6 inch pots going strong with these lights aimed above them on my table, but I supplemented it with a GE LED veggie grow light bulb too in a floor lamp aimed at them with this unit. As far as hydroponics go, I have generic Chinese hydroponic Aero Garden type machines that have these type of built in LED lights on a pole above them, and I have even grown a sunflower that got 16 inches tall in it before I took it outside and transplanted it.
I grew lots of different veggies flowers and herbs successfully. These lights seem to work, but I do not know how big your tower is, so at least two or more of these might be recommended for something so big. The GE Grow Light Bulbs are highly recommended as well. They used to be $10 or less, but now with inflation the prices have been sky high for those bulbs unfortunately.
@@FuturesPast1 I am buying a 30 pod Chinese tower that is cheap a little over a $100 and I plan to start it off with a Lance you have and later save up money and I will use PBC pipes and I will use L. E! DT54 feet length grow lights.
