I do hard scapes for a living as well, and I see a lot of questionable work on UA-cam, you are not one of them, you are too notch and I live the attention to detail.
I certainly am man, couldn't do it without him and we have a great time together while we work hard. Totally agree with you and congratulations on being in business for 30 years, that is very impressive! ✌
That's going to look even better when the customer fills in with plants. Beautiful! Just watched the video when you were running the Bobcat, the Kubota door is much more user friendly.
Thank you and I totally agree. A Hardscape install looks so much better with some nice landscaping. 👌 And you are not kidding about how much better that door is...LOL ✌
CHS!! The wheelbarrow joke was second best only to that uber sweet wall. Thanks for the content. I watch these for fun and learning a lot! Thx. Peace & God Bless.
You haven't had any issues because you do great work, great quality, honest with your clients and just a good person. Great Job. My wife always wonders why we too have been blessed with our tenants for the past 20 years and she is barely 40 years old. No lost rent or bad tenants. Same here, I have fair rent, respond quickly and sometimes will give free rent for a month or two if my tenant have surgery, fall on hard times etc. Never an eviction and my tenants sometimes will find their replacement. Keep it the way you're doing it brother. Awesome.
I appreciate the kind words big time! And it sounds like you understand the key to being a great property owner. Not many like that out there and like you mentioned, it is because of the humility in realizing it is a blessing to even have the opportunity. That humility and willingness to bless others will always come full circle to bless you in return. God bless brother and thanks for awesome feedback all the time! ✌
Fantastic job gents! Your business will continue to grow if you keep up doing the quality work and paying attention to those details as you do. My cousin, who owns his own landscaping business out in Iowa, does the same quality work you and Ben do. He started out with a wheelbarrow and a shovel 15 years ago, slowly building his business and client base by providing his customers with always his best work. Now he is doing a million-dollar project. Can't wait to see your business grow brother! Keep hustling!
Thank you, that's awesome to hear. I have been building my reputation for quite a few years now... And I totally agree with you, just keep providing good quality work for your clients and the rest will come. Congratulations to your cousin, glad his hard work is paying off! ✌
Good stuff. Finally got to a point with my business to where I needed to buy a Stihl TS420 Rented them here and there as needed but it was definitely time to get one for myself. Love those saws. Great work as always
I use the versa lok blocks a lot, and I’ve got to chisel off the corners on the blocks and caps every time. I agree, it’s tedious, but in my opinion, the attention to detail is top notch and really shows craftsmanship. 👌🏻 looks awesome dude, keep up the great work guys!
Heck yeah man, that is what sets you apart from the rest who care only about getting in and out of a job. I wouldn't sleep at night if I didn't chisel those bumps off...LOL Thanks as always brother! ✌
Thank you! There were a number of reasons why I did not put drainage pipes, but mainly because it was not necessary in my opinion. Water seeps through all the joints of the wall blocks and there is a ton of drainage stone behind both of these walls. Plus the subsoil is very well draining sand / gravel and will have no problem allowing water to permeate.
Makes sense. I am in Canada and with our winters we have no choice to add drain tile every 3 feet of elevation. Some contractors don’t do it and the walls fail…not all contractors care about their clients and their work
Thanks brother! That is definitely the cheapest caulking gun out there...LOL One day I'll have a better one but it is just something I always deal with. ✌

Oh nice, I appreciate the compliment! It is always good to hear from other guys in the industry. ✌
You're the ONLY person I know who is able to make a circle look sharp...stunning outcome
Thank you very much, I love curves... ✌
All the little things you do for better quality work. Great Job.
Yeah buddy, thank you!
Be grateful you have a good friend and employee! Been the business for 30 years! Employees make you grow! Good job!

The finished look of that curved retaining wall is just stunning! Great job on the installation.
Thank you very much, that was such a fun project and I was thrilled with the result! ✌
Very nice design! Like the way you broke up that wall and taylored it to the hill you were retaining. Looks just right.
Thank you, I really liked the flower bed step ups myself. 👌
Looks fantastic! Another great project.
Thank you!

Very nice series to follow. As others have said, the wall came out fantastic. Thanks for sharing and showing how its done.
Glad you enjoyed it, it was my pleasure to share! ✌

Absolutely beautiful. What a stunning difference this project made to this already beautiful house. I give it five snaps, in the Z formation.
🤣 Thank you! ✌
The before and aftah was wicked killah.

Good stuff. Finally got to a point with my business to where I needed to buy a Stihl TS420
Rented them here and there as needed but it was definitely time to get one for myself. Love those saws.
Great work as always
That saw is incredible man, been using them for years now... They rip through concrete like its nothing 👌
Great job!
Nice work!
Looks MINT! That's a lot of attention to detail 🤌🏼
Thanks brother!

That hose might be Zero G. Its what i rock. LOVE it
I just looked that up and you are correct, definitely a Zero G hose. I love that thing 👌
Looks good fellas!
Hope 2024 has been good thus far ✌️
Thanks man! 2024 has been very busy but great for sure. I hope the same for you! ✌
Looks awesome! Is the homeowner going to get some asphalt for that exposed part of the driveway next to the lowest wall?
Thank you! The customers re paved the entire driveway after we finished, right up to the wall. Looks mint! 👌
What stepping stones are those?
They are made by (Techo Bloc) and they are called (Maya)
Awesome work with this wall!!
Would it have been a good option to add drain pipes behind them?
Thank you! There were a number of reasons why I did not put drainage pipes, but mainly because it was not necessary in my opinion. Built with love. Top notch lads. Nice saw cutting but not a fan of your caulking gun. There are better and friendlier options out there. ✌️
Thanks brother! That is definitely the cheapest caulking gun out there...LOL One day I'll have a better one but it is just something I always deal with. ✌
Do you have a link to the fabric you use? How many ounces is it? Is it the 1.5 ounce?

Only the 1st couple times, then you learn to trust it wont flip. ✌
Thought you started peeing at 16:49 lol
