You got to give the doggie a piece I just lost my Jack Russell about six months ago she was with me for almost 18 years and she never complained about my barbecue😊😊😥
This video really helped in my journey to learning how to BBQ. and that four-legged sweetheart was the icing on the cake for me because she looks just like mine. Thanks a bunch
Great job tin man that wasn't overcooked that looked perfect REALLY good for first try or any try. Have a great day always enjoy your channel. Greetings from Knoxville TN
Tender and juicy, that meat wasn’t over cooked at all! Great job keep up the good work! I’m looking to order some new rubs from a company called spiceology soon
It looks delicious and very tender and juicy, but why not just leave it on the grill after you wrapped with foil? And what was the temperature when you put it in the oven? What I like about you is that you don't pretend to be this expert chef, and everything you do is just simple and easy for us. Keep up the good work dude.
The reason I put it in the oven is, because it's easier to maintain a steady temperature and I didn't have to keep adding charcoal. Once it's wrapped it doesn't get any more smoke anyway. It was just a little easier. The internal temperature of the pork was about 160 degrees F when I wrapped it and put it in the 300 degree F oven.
The roast looks delicious. I see you have a jacket on. What is the Temperature in CA today? Thanks for sharing your video. I truly hope you are doing well.
Thank you for believing fat side down to get the bark on the actual meat. Bark on meat is so much tastier than bark on fat. Plus the fat sticks to grate
Didn't look overlooked to me. I would call it just about perfect, first cook or not. Wrapping it and finishing it in the oven is probably what kept it so juicy. Be well. God bless.
Great job for your first try I bet it tasted great. The only suggestion I have is next time try smoking it with the fat cap side up instead of down. You will get a lot more juicy flavor in your meet. Keep up the good work

Awesome! I'm glad the video is helpful!
Thanks for the video! What is that tray called that holds the charcoal on one side? I’ve looked for one but can’t find it. Thanks in advance!
It's called a slow and sear by SnS. You can find it on Amazon

No wood?
No, every time I add wood it's too smokey for my taste.

Wow that really looks good, Jim! No harm in eating bark with some pig fat on it! Hope you enjoyed it!!
Thank you! Yeah, it was good!
Look's good Jim, noticed you didn't use the clips for the cover to hold the heat
Thanks! The temperature was holding pretty steady so I didn't bother using them.
