I would have to agree with you, because the 80's were the best year ever, and I too love this song, also whenever i'm Upset or mad or angry about something, I just hum this song and it made me feel better.

No. Because then we'd lose power rangers, reboot and beast wars. I am however for giving someone who actually cares about the franchise (like Lightning Bliss) complete control of Rainbow Brite.
I want to start at the 1970's.
If we went back to the date on which this was updated, we'd lose all of our precious UA-cam videos, and classic Disney movies like The Princess and the Frog.

While this doesn't sound at all like Shake Your Body Down To The Ground, there is an episode of ABC Monsters whose background music sounds much more like that song where Cherry Berry teaches the viewers about cars, trucks, and other vehicles.

I hide my love for the decade to my friends and associates, I'm proud to be a fan of it's music, excellent cartoons and everything else. This song rocks and so does 1985.
This is my favorite movie from my childhood. My grandpa recorded it on a VHS tape for my sisters and me and I about wore the tape out. This theme song is my favorite too. Thanks for sharing it!

After my heart surgery I was 2 years old I was three after that my dad we walked to a store they sell electronics and they're have rainbow Brite to rent movies

Hell, I have the whole series on dvd. Yeah, Wisp had her work cut out for her. Rainbowland was a seriously dark and threatening place, even by today's standards.

The 80's had a ton of "unisex" toons, like Rainbow Brite, My Little Pony (only the dolls were girly), and even Jem. Stuff that you think would be only for girls, but when you watch it, it's really for everyone, with lots of action and stuff, so guys watching it don't feel weird at all.

According to the dvd, 1985. Seems to be about the time I saw it in theaters, too.

Actually, it did. The whole series dvd set was released and sold on Amazon for 12 bucks in 2006. I snatched it when I saw it. It was released by a small distribution company called Popcorn Films that was working with DIC/Cookie Jar, and went rogue with their IPs (such as releasing RB on dvd without permission) and getting in trouble for it. It's still for sale, just more expensive now (30 bucks instead of 11.99), and not direct from Popcorn anymore. Go for it. 3 boxes left.
I wonder if I can get this as a ring tone. Geeze, the looks I would get at the check out would be hilarious!

Never, I say, NEVER speak ill of Mr. Music! He might have only had one voice, but it was one voice we could all love! Johnny Young Bosh seems to have the same thing going but he's good enough in his roles to be forgiven of it.

I've noticed that on "See & Sing" there is also a pitch bend for about 0.1 seconds in the I'm a Little Teapot song right before the fifth time they sing, "Pour me out I'm hot."

I'm a fan of voice acting (and a guy. not ashamed to admit I watched this show growing up). I was watching Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children when it came out a few years back and couldn't place that name when is came up in the credits. She voiced Elena of the Turks in that movie. Kinda neat that a VA in the business that long could peice together a fandom of my present to one of my youth.
