- Prosecutors filed court papers asking a judge to revoke Rebecca Grossman's privilege to make telephone calls while in jail, contending that she has used the calls to "engage in wholly improper conduct or potentially illegal conduct" after being convicted of second-degree murder and other charges involving a crash that killed two young boys in Westlake Village.

In California the assets are divided 50/50. And perhaps since the murders took place while they were still married, then divorcing might not protect the community assets they have. It could be construed as an obvious attempt at protecting assets from seizure. A judge or jury might not like that and financially punish them more. Either way, i think he is free from his ball and chain....pun intended

According to her, not one juror had 'reasonable doubt' of her innocence, something her attorney probably promised her she could count on to avoid conviction. Guilty, yet shocked of the verdict.

Her conduct has been shameful from the very beginning. Had she taken ownership of her bad decisions and displayed remorse and regret she would have received some degree of leniency. However, there is a good chance this woman lacks the capacity to even feign such emotions. She has handled this situation in one of the worst manners possible.
