Kicking someone in head while on the ground should be upgraded from assault with a deadly weapon to attempted murder charges.
Its a deadly cowardly act!
It happened to me as a teen, my friend and brother saved me before the kicked my head, I was on the ground getting beat and was badly concussed.
My son is 15, this breaks my heart for this family and poor kid. I hope he recovers.

I was standing outside 99c the one on pacific and Florence and 3 people beat me up. I was knocked out. And I have a neck injury on my left back side of my head. It's hurting all the time. I'm sad to see this boy in this situation. Police need to find the people who hurt him and put them behind bars.
