Fabulous video.. Great voice. I would love to see more like this. So relaxing to watch. I miss Opal Hunters.. Love from a 70 year old from Scotland 🏴😘
That was different than a lot of the other opal videos. It was like an internal monologue on the journey and real impressions seeing nice color. Was an enjoyable story in the life of one of you determined opal hunters. Got lost in the adventure. Thanks and keep up the nice content.
Can't believe what these miners go through to find a little bit of opal. This has got to be just about as dangerous as King Crab fishing during the winter months.
I just spent an evening with a crabber who worked for a decade out of Alaska. His stories are incomprehensible. Not to take away from opal mining but crabbing is on a whole different level of insanity from anything on earth.
@@utrose Crabbing is the most dangerous profession on the planet but being underground that far with all those tunnels and rocks flaking off and dropping 30-75 feet, lack of air, dark and no way of escape in case of a cave in, just give me the jitters. But, if I had to pick one of the two, I would rather be an opal miner than a crabber.
Love you guys, been here since yall had like 300 subs, but this voiceover made the video closer to a "nature" documentary i fall asleep to than fun content, pls never again 😅❤
Would love to see more coober opal. My buddy used to mine there before moving to Indonesia. First opal I ever cut was coober so naturally it's myfavorite
We love you guys, Hubby and I are true die hard fans! , We try and count the times y'all say " color" each episode.😂 Hopefully you will send us some....." Color " We bought a bit of dirt, can't wait to get it. Love to see the cutting room footage, it's amazing how Noah just seems to make the opal come to life. Beautiful work 💍 Keep up the great work guy!
New sub, love the content I've seen so far. Would like to see more of the everyday stuff, not just finding the goods, but the work in between. Some might think it's boring to watch a hole getting dug without finding colour, but I reckon it'd make good content.
Very enjoyable video. Having an introduction would be nice. Only because I had to check the channel name more than once and make sure I did not click on the wrong video.
If you head there, you can noodle (fossick) around town for free, for a hundred bucks or so you can get your PSPP, (prospecting permit) and peg some old workings. For a few hundred more you could possibly source some ladders, a pick, shovel, helmet with UV and white lights and start scratching around. It’s definitely best to learn with an experienced crew to start with as it can be very dangerous if you are unaware of the risks. It’s like any trade, after a few years you could call yourself an opal miner, now whether you find opal or not, is another story entirely.. 😊
@@Opaldiggermy old Dad had lots of sayings he used and HARDER THAN THE HOBBS OF HELL ! Was one he always used to describe hard to dig ground . LOL ! 👍🇨🇦
Opal is crazy !!! Man can go broke spending ten years in a hole and the next guy comes along and removes a couple inches of dirt in the wall and gets rich !!!!!
Would love to see more and the narration was lovely. Reflecting on the old times and how many stories have happened on the land.

I say if there were any opal miners I would work with it would be you guys. It's just hard to mine opal in the states when it's down under.
