I love hanging out in tagaytay and staring at taal volcano, I see that massive lake and wonder what kind of eruption left a caldera that big. Volcano island is pretty cool too
There's an interesting theory about the Toba-supereruption, and why it was so terribly vast! Researches believe that when Toba 'blew up', it didnt vent out of its top-craters, but out of its side, the biggest explosion actually causing a large part of the mountain to get torn out (like 1.000x what happened to St Helens?), which caused the entire mountain to become so unstable, it collapsed.....Collapsed into the Caldera, creating a magmatic overflow. There is evidence of 'smaller' forms of flood-volcanism during the Toba-eruption, and the magma-chamber being overflown with a volvanic mountain, kinda fits the scenario perfectly. The 'island' inside Toba-Lake is just what remains of the tumbled volcanic slope nowadays.
………Volcanologists’ are a tad concerned about Campi Flegrei, near Naples, too. My studying of that discipline, leads me to believe, possibly, that C F is linked underground to Mt Vesuvius.………

You can go from the outside in (center area "to gradually drain the pressure, to avoid causing pressure in the central areas when the pressure is too great ...?)
The Farsight Institute remote viewers saw Toba Eruption as a man-made event. An ancient advanced civilization, possibly Atlantan, attempted to dig a tunnel through the crust to the molten magma below, thinking they could control and use it for energy. They underestimated its power and unleashed a gigantic eruption of magma, which caused massive tidal waves, almost destroying humanity. It’s an interesting theory, for sure.
Toba is actually broke the VEI measurement.. because of it ejected 13,200 km³, that would be in 9 VEI, and it because 8 VEI is 1000 km³.. So basically Toba is like 1 Billion of Tsar bomba exploding next to each other at the same time in just 3 to 5 days.. it mind boggling to think about it even..
Nearby? Man, you must have the biggest home in Indonesia then! Toba is on the north of Sumatra, where Krakatoa is an archipelago between Sumatra and Java :)
Explaining toba caldera, but none of toba caldera clip on your footage, at least you better show the lake toba clip that its the toba caldera (in my opinion).
I'm not afraid of Toba, because the mountain has stopped being active since the last eruption and all that's left is a big beautiful lake. I'm more afraid of Anak Krakatoa. because even though it erupted many times, it was still reborn and continued to grow every year. so the longer it takes for the mountain to stop erupting, the bigger and more dangerous it becomes. It's like in the past when Krakatoa was only one big mountain before it erupted in 416. and after that a Rakata island appeared which had 3 smaller mountains. Then in 1883 all of three mountains erupted simultaneously and wiped out the entire island of Rakata. Only then did the island appear again which has one mountain so that the mountain was given the name "Anak Krakatau". which means Krakatoa's Child.
I am sorry to burst your bubble, but it is possible that Toba was bigger than La Garita. New studies, specifically a paper named “The magnitude and impact of the Youngest Toba Tuff eruption have extended the volume of the Toba supereruption by 3 times. The most common estimate for the eruption is 2,800 cubic kilometers in volume, with La Garita’s eruption being 5,000 cubic kilometers in volume, (Both in dense rock equivalent, not actual ejecta) but these new studies have estimated the volume of the Toba supereruption at 5,300 cubic kilometers in dense rock equivalent, or more than 13,200 cubic kilometers in volume! since the La Garita supereruption is only about 10,000 cubic kilomters in actual volume (5,000 cubic kilometers in dense rock equivalent), the Toba supereruption was probably larger. The volume estimates for the Toba supereruption also range up to more than 6,000 cubic kilometers in dense rock equivalent, so it is also possible that it is also larger than even the Wah Wah springs eruption of 5,900 cubic kilometers in dense rock equivalent, or almost 13,000 cubic kilometers in actual volume. The new volume estimates are so large than some scientists classify the Toba supereruption as a VEI 9, an order of magnitude larger than the other supereruptions! There are reasons to doubt these estimates, but it shows that the Toba supereruption was likely much bigger than thought.

It is unlikely either volcano will erupt in our lifetime. But anything is possible so it could blow up any second. :)

Yellowstone : yes i can
SUPER TOBA : hold my bakudan
Excellent music💯👌🏾❤🙏
Mount Toba is still active and will erupt whenever Toba is a sleeping vulcano monster
@@thegreenreaper6660 true. If errupt again it never same as 78k years ago. I believe not even close to 1883 krakatau eruption.

7 Magnificent Indonesia Supervolcano :
1. TOBA
2. SUNDA (Lembang Highland ) at West Jawa.
3. TENGGER ( TENGGER HIGHLAND AREA )
4. BATUR ( BATUR HIGHLAND ) at BALI Island.
5. CRACATOA
6. TAMBORA at SUMBAWA Island.
7. SAMALAS ( MOUNT RINJANI ) at LOMBOK Island.
Only Toba was supervolcano on your list
No. It's only Toba from all of them. Those six's are not even comparable against Toba.
You can go from the outside in (center area "to gradually drain the pressure, to avoid causing pressure in the central areas when the pressure is too great ...?)

Toba krakatau tambora:aww you so cutee
Aside from that. La Garita also exceeded the limits and the scientists agreed it to be uncovered as a VEI 9.2
Why do people sleep on the wah wah supervolcano on the Nevada, and Utah border?

@@pyrovania oh really, i don't knew before, nice to know, lemme find this information
It, unfortunately is still active.
There is a high possibility that Krakatoa did not erupted in 416 but it erupted in 535
@@aron1332 Yep
Toba is still active :)
Dude do you really have to put conjuring soundtrack into this?
I like everybody's beginning to believe that Toba was the strongest eruption, but mind you. Look up the La Gareta Super Eruption.
