    I have question it might be a little complicated. I know you can use vsts on this keyboard using a daw by using midi channel input. My question is, would you happen to know if there is a way to seamlessly switch sounds i created on the vst and combine the effects on the keyboard and save them for each live set. (I have heard you can use a vst and use the onboard effects of the ck61 for the external vst) for example have a midi channel saved in a live set so that if you change to a different live set the midi channel with the loaded vsts will load up for each live set. Hope that makes sense.
    Thanks again!

      Hi, you have for each Live Set a Master function that allow you to control 4 zone see my video about this ua-cam.com/video/85sPtQ-phS0/v-deo.html so yes you can configure each live set with MIDI dedicate channels to control VSTi host in your DAW, to have the benefit of CK effect for your VSTi you need to connect your computer sound card audio output to the CK AD input, check this video ua-cam.com/video/NU3o5MyVhUE/v-deo.html the CK effects are not available thru to USB to HOST direct connexion, for the seamless sound switching, depend of the VSTi if he can accept bank and program change, not all of the accept this. My advice rather to go and host your VSTi on a DAW, use Camelot Pro, it will allow you to organize your project recalling CK live set, VSTi, showing your chors sheet, and provide lot of benefit in the better way than a DAW check my video about Camelot and CK ua-cam.com/video/h8CIob1clTA/v-deo.html hope it's help.

      thank you appreciate the prompt reply. This keyboard is now actually on my top list now of purchasing my first stage keyboard. Im still debating to get this or the Roland Juno ds61. I have been using a midi keyboard connected to my laptop ableton daw where I have all my sounds I created. Im planning to find a stage keyboard where I can seamlessly switch from the onboard sounds of a stage keyboard back to a patches I created on a daw using external VSTS Keyscape/Arturia Synths during live band performances of 50+ songs without much menu diving. Do you think this keyboard is capable of doing this? Judging by the Live Set Master Function you described it looks like it maybe can. Also I have a midi footstep called "Softstep 2" by Kieth Mcmillen which is a USB based output Foot Switch and an Expression Pedal combined also have it configured has a Sustain Pedal as well. How would I be able to connect this midi footswitch on a CK61 *without* using a Daw or laptop. It is USB based only and Im positive it will not connect properly to the usb host of CK. Would like to use this midi pedal some nights on the CK without bringing a laptop and get the benefits of the Softstep 2 midi patch changes and sustain/expression pedal on the CK. Is that possible too? Thanks Again!

      @@jaycollabz-ow7ok Hi the MIDI Master fonction allow to call program by MSB LSB and PC, for VSTi not all answers to this MIDI message, i do not use ableton so i cannot answer if ableton can mamage this command type for calling VSTi, you need to ask to an Ableton users forum. For the MIDI pedal through USB it will not work on CK61 uSB to host port, and i do not think it will work with one other keyboard too without a computer. For live band mamanging check Camelot Pro, it's dedicate to live using, VSTi host and can manage you VSTi by song, Work on Mac and PC and also on iOS if you have an iPad.

    I have a question what happens when my keyboard stops making sounds when the volume is all the way up

    • @Moessieurs
      @Moessieurs  10 місяців тому

      Hi difficult to answer in sure way with this few informations, one can be local control set to off, the other can be in editing sound parts set to zero when faders are still up, cutoff turn to minimum value, offset set to a value that do not provide any sounds ....

    Sorry for this unrelated question, but I can’t find this info anywhere. When programming layers, is it possible to set their individual velocities so a specific sound(s) plays accordingly to dynamics?

    • @Moessieurs
      @Moessieurs  Рік тому +1

      Hi, there is no velocity range for each parts A/B/C. If you want to add a part you can use a foot pedal managing expression, but this is not seems to be what you want to achieve, the other way is to manage in Settings, Sound, Part A/B/C, Touch sensitivity and manage with Depth and Offset, check our last Tech Talk Live Episode, Hape explain this settings, ua-cam.com/video/kZoXYZEepFU/v-deo.html check at 28min17, do not miss all the episode, Blake show general parts and for my part i present Mono/portamento and Unisson settings, hope it's help

      Thank you very much for your response. I just watched, although he didn’t demonstrate it, I think that it might be it? Hopefully by changing the key touch parameters individually as showed on his video, will stop the layered sounds to eat polyphony when bellow or above you the threshold. This function js a highlight on the RD88 for gigging and if the Ck can do it as well thats awesome
