A great old tech hardware with refreshed tech like Wifi, Bluetooth, and even USBC! The internal storage is only 32 but includes a 128GB card. So it comes in at a total of 160GB. Enough to likely store your entire music collection depending on quality and size of course.
The audio quality was surprisingly good with no perceptible noise floor. For everyday use, this can be a great way to setup a dedicated audio play without involving your phone or if you just want a distraction free way to listen to audio books. Give one to your kid when a phone is not yet needed.

How does it work for audiobooks? If I were playing an mp3, would it automatically remember my position on the track? What is file management like, can you use folders or is it limited to the scanning?

Doesn't have easy access to the battery. You could DIY it possibly.

These players suck when it comes to loading up songs and customizing your own playlist!! Really amazes me how easy it used to be to be to do these as compared to to the supposedly new more advanced players.. SUCK!!🤯🤯🤯
Maaaan, this sucks . If it has a web browser and a play store. I wouldn’t categorize it as a mp3 player. It’s a pocket phone :(

The micro SD card is included. 1GB = 1000 MB = roughly 1000 minutes of songs.

I think I would like this MP3 player, except....I purchased this from Amazon and it arrived today. With the death of my iPod Classic, I was searching for an easy-to-use source for some of my music - to transfer some downloads on my MacBook to this MP3 device. I must be an idiot, but I have NO idea how to do that. I've read all the manual instructions but it's written for someone who is very experienced with Androids. I downloaded the openmtp app onto my computer that is supposed to be necessary for transferring from a Mac computer - but it's completely out of my pay grade to figure out what to do next. Really bummed. Spotify works fine. That's all the music I can use it for. Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks.
You could try just dumping mp3 files straight into the microSD card first.
Exactly the issue with these MP3 players. Loading up your songs on that card. And when you finally do, good luck with arranging the songs in the order you wish !!! Then most of these players are not to apple friendly!! Really sucks!! Been there…🤯🤯🤯

@@MrDeveron28I am currently using a similar player, Mechen H1, and I opened the apk installation in a simple way and installed Poweramp. If you wish, you can also try it for this device.

Be sure the system language is set to English/United States > Close out of System Settings > Open Calculator > Enter .202188 followed by the equals sign.
You should see a dialog box pop to allow or disallow third party app installs. (that's the decimal followed by 202188)."

160GB...hmmm...sat here with 2TB of music....maybe I need to build my own player...
You could just put in a 2TB microSD card.

No not waterproof, but i spray it with alcohol and wipe the screen so it must be splash resistant

I bought one of these yesterday, and sent it back today. The headphone amp is absolute garbage, and I notice that you only spent a few seconds with it connected to a speaker, and with it at full volume. The player cannot drive a decent set of cans, and if you use a set of low impedance IEMs or earbuds, the noise that comes from it is unbearable. Even with the player at full volume, I can still hear what's going on around me, and that's not good enough.
At least you used the 3.5mm connection though, however briefly and dishonestly. Pretty much every other paid for review skips that bit because they've either been given a script, or they know that if they were honest, nobody would buy it.
Yup. I'm not surprised it cannot drive low impedance IEMs. I used the included tiny earbuds.
No help for actually being able to transfer songs from an iPod to this unit. That is the difficult part. This is a sales piece.
