Blessed music in a holy era of Vineyard song! Loved all of these songs during my first love and fondly recall it was during a revival. I have gone back to singing Sweet Wind, Holy Love, I Love Your Presence, and more. The spiritual fragrance of the Lord during those early years gave me so much faith in the reality of Jesus, and of the beautiful nature of our God.
I dropped by here because God reminded me of this song, as I am having my daily devotion, God brought me to Song of Songs 8:6-7 Many waters cannot quench God’s Holy Love for me.. This song I’ve heard before but it is true that God’s words are really timeless and given by the Lord to us on day to day basis. Hallelujah! I got saved at the Vineyard in McKinney TX in 1993 under Pastor Dane Yarborough. I was a staunch Catholic at the time, but the Lord got me there anyway. The worship was what saved me! Recently I thought to look up Vineyard Worship and found these old songs. There is nothing like these worship songs that take me right into the Lord's presence like nothing else! I listen to Bethel and Upper Room but nothing seemed to be just right until I re-discovered Vineyard worship. Thank you anointed song-writers for your faithful service and thank you John Wimber for your obedience to the call of the Lord!

I remember worship at the Vineyard at Anaheim in the 80's. WOW.....the music was just pouring out of artists' hearts, song after song. This was one of my favorites, and still is.
I learned to worship God to these songs. Iv gotten a little misplaced over the past few years. These songs are helping to recenter me into the heart of the Father.

"Movements" come and go, they have their time in the sun and fade into obscurity. Our Triune God has no such limits. He always was, and His Love and Glory Endures Forever. Still the darker the world gets, the Brighter His Light shines, and the more evil the world gets, the more Powerful His Anointing to all those that are called to His Purpose. To God be the Glory!
Language is limited. The word "movement" is used to describe something that is occurring. I knew John Wimber and he called it a movement. I don't think that we need to perform a spiritual contest to see how spiritual we can become. Just enjoy the music and go out and get some souls...

In Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus says to those who call him Lord Lord and do many miracles in his name he sends to hell. Why? Because they didn't do the will of the Father. What is the will of the Father? He says it in the same passage: I never knew you. They called him Lord but didn't know him. Know how? As friend. As beloved. It takes intimacy to know someone and this is more than the authority or stoicism of a Lord. Yes you must believe he is God but more importantly that he is beloved brother, Abba and friend.
