Resident Evil: Vendetta (2017) Chris Redfield vs Glenn Arias FULL FIGHT

- Synopsis: A Mexican Army team supervised by BSAA Captain Chris Redfield investigates a mansion linked to a B.O.W. smuggling operation, which is infested with zombies infected with a new viral strain. There he finds Glenn Arias, a black market dealer wanted by Interpol, but Arias gets away when the mansion explodes. He is soon joined by one of the BSAA's advisors, Dr.Rebecca Chambers, who begins developing drugs to combat the virus encountered in the mansion. The laboratory is attacked by one of Arias' accomplices at the end of her research, and Chris saves her from infection. Following the attack, they get the attention of DSO agent Leon S. Kennedy. Concluding Arias is involved in an upcoming terrorist attack they head out to New York to find him before it can take place.

@@yankeemania2345 Glen isn't normal, both are moving at a fast paced. Meaning the bullets are going everywhere. Leon, and Chris would lose to Glen since something is going on about that guy. Plus it's realistic. No soldier is going to pop his head out when someone is shooting, so Chris spraying while keeping his head behind cover is a tactical movement. Glenn does it too

If this kind of Choreography was in a John Wick movie, it'd be amazing. Here, it just comes off as really silly.
For all the nonsense when the fight starts with the massive over-expenditure of bullets, I really like the part of the fight at 0:41 when it turns into both men fighting over the single remaining loaded firearm. That was cool, the way they kept disarming each other to try and gain control of the weapon.

It’s funny because the part where they start wrestling over their gun and knife is similar to hand to hand combat situations that irl soldiers have experienced and trained for. Might not be totally realistic but certainly believable. The part just before they where they spin/roll in circles missing dozens of point blank shots is just ridiculous however

Heavier, his bulk gives him an advantage during mount strikes or pushes/throws.
Despite his bulk, has impressive CQC skills.
Doesn't use his legs often as an offensive tool, limiting his options.
Is already tired after fighting dozens of infected before.
Slower due to size, armor and exhaustion.
Glenn;
Overall a much better and versatile fighter.
Is still at full strength.
Has less protection but better mobility as a result.
Overconfidence can be exploited.
The very first time I saw this scene, I knew the only way Chris would win this is by using the environment or underhanded tactics. Glenn is simply too fast and skilled to defeat directly without being at full strength. It's one hell of a fight though (even if it's a bit ridiculous at times XD )

Honestly, Chris should have been dead or at least unconscious after having his head punched through the glass. That's concussion territory right there and you don't just instantly recover from it in seconds. I guess only explanation would be that Chris is super durable as well.
@@teriosshadow17 I mean, Chris has shown time and time again that he's tough as hell (not anyone can take the kind of punches and kicks he gets in RE5 and continue fighting) but also when he breaks the glass with his head, the glass was already fractured and weakened so it probably didn't need much to break it.

Black Arms Dealer explicitly had used some form of Virus on himself, the Book even implied that it was the same Virus Wesker had.
Forest Shepherd he probably had a modified strand of las plagas and the movie hints at this when the that dude in the bar was trying to convince Leon to save his family. It's stated that Aria's had contact with surviving members of Los illuminados and the trigger virus had modified strands of las plagas put into the viruses coding. That's probably why Aria's is almost super human.

In the first fight Chris was taken down a bit easy because he's already been fighting zombies and was caught off guard as seen here Chris definitely is the stronger as he can push back, spear and lift Arias with ease. Also Chris took stronger punches than what Arias had to give.

None of these characters are boring they each shine in their own ways and in their own stories and we’re all here for it. Especially after Resident 8 where Chris actually had a more intimidating threatening idgaf anymore presence than he ever did in any of his games since he’s older and tired, normally he’s your reliable friendly big guy with a heart but he’s got a much more gritty personality now, which leaves us curious to see how Leon is doing these days. Capcom is actually doing something new with these characters. We’re just not like ppl like you constantly complaining and bitching about everything not being the way you want it to be, acting like if someone keeps taking shits on your rainbows lol that type of energy is getting so old now at this point y’all just yelling at the cloud

I love how past all the gunfighting skills, the (bullet) path dodging, the hand-to-hand combat, and such... you can tell just how many games Chris has been through by this point.
Chris: "Oh fuck this, I tanked hits from a man whose special attack was literally stabbing your heart with his hand, moved a boulder with sheer BDE, and for the last few games all I needed to stay alive was enough deodorant (5) or pez (6). Tired of this..."

Fer Alvarado this looks considerably different than re5 and 6 Chris and resembels re7 Chris far better. Chris has gone through so many changes that it's just something you have to get used to. And also, the re7 Chris looks alot like the original Chris but aged which is totally fine. People make such a fuss over a facial change in a video game.😥
