This works best as the first pedal in the chain (also sounds great in the loop), with chill settings. With the tone knob rolled off, going a full octave down on the detune and the effect level just high enough to introduce the effect is a great thickener/always on type of pedal. I find there’s absolutely no issues tracking chords in this type of setting/spot in the chain.
Yes, the Tera Echo was Boss' 100th pedal, and it's a great one. (I have it, in part, thanks to you guys. It's great!). Was/is there a scuff or blur on your camera lens? Nice run through of the controls and modes. Gabor was getting that Steel Drum thing going on at about 6'. Seems like a very multi-dimensional modulating pedal. Very interesting! Thanks guys!
It must have been me. I remember at the time making sure it wasn't the video screen or dirt. Looking now I haven't found it again. If I do I'll post a time.
Interesting pedal for sure, though I'll admit I was expecting more based on other comments. That steel drum sound can get annoying very quickly, so I like setting 3 best. I have a Donner Harmonic Square, and the high octaves are largely unusable because it insists on sounding tropical rather than ethereal. I'd buy one of these only if it's in the $40 or under range, which it's never gonna be. Yes, I'm a cheapskate, though I will pay up for certain pedals. This ain't one of 'em.
Thanks for the vid guys. The MO-2 has too much trouble with chords for my liking. I doubt that placing the pedal in the hands of a psychiatrist will achieve much for it's state of confusion. I prefer midi synth with the bonus of utilizing the hold function.
This pedal is low key 🔥🔥🔥 in the right hands

2013 was a good year for Boss pedals. Nice demo, fellas.
Thanks tommyfoley
Wondering what it would sound like combined with a good splattery fuzz....
Saw a comment saying it is great between two fuzzes.
Another saying it's great after a wah.

Thanks Ernest Fuentes! Which camera? The main one or the one on the pedal?

This is an important component of Mike Stern's sound.
Need to oil those chairs. Lol
I told Alex...hard to find good help nowadays 😜
At 0:50 I know that was before Covid.
The good old days when you could cough all over people 😜
@@TSFAHTPS lol
THAT was a GREAT intro!
Thank you very much!!
Sounds like King Gizzard's guitar tone in The River
might be because he uses a 12 string in that song
how is the jazz master build going? any thoughts on using guitar fetish parts?
It's coming along Josh...I'll do an update soon

This pedal sounded best with the OD IMHO. :)
Yeah it did work pretty good with the OD...thanks Stewart
Not seeing where this pedal is anywhere close to being useful, but, I'm glad you two had a fun time with each other.
Why do people like you think anyone cares that you lack creativity and imagination?
Bizarre.
No stereo demo?
We didn’t have a stereo recording setup when we filmed this demo (a few years ago now I think) we might do another video with it running it in stereo
4:56 that’s some rainbow machiney sounds
Yeah...I never noticed that...but it’s pretty close
The SuperFunAwesomeHappyTime Pedal Show! I love that this pedal can do stuff like that, that’s why I want it on my board

09:07 Dude on the right... your pentatonic triplet exercises are not improvisation phrases, ok? Leave them alone.
Ahm…..no
>Opening with inhaler
It sounds broken.
