Gotta agree on this. Super fun for when you're on the phone and want a nice classic RPG experience. The graphics are cute, the gameplay is fun, and I hardly ever find myself running out of energy meaning I can constantly grind new levels and further my progression.
its one of the best mobile games ive played this year very under appreciated than genshin but i do like this more coz of the parody on other animes brings me back to the old times. Oh btw Guardian tales was supposed to be a Sega Game with Sega Characters but Sega didnt pursue this game so they choose their own chars with parodies instead.
It's a fun game with a lot of little side references to various genres. There are dragonball quotes, monty python quotes, and a bunch of other little bits here and there. It's a good game. But it does get old after a time when it begins feeling repetitive. While you don't necessarily need to put money into it, the game does kinda lean you towards it with some of the challenges requiring specific classes/weapons.
I actually love this game. It provides the "active gacha" itch, since im kinda only doing genshin for an hour or so a day to do dailies/burn resin. Plus I've been kinda lucky with summons. Have almost all the Unique heroes, and the Unique weapons for them as well. The one blight on my account is I don't have Flower Girl Bari, and tbh, until I get her, I feel like i cant really push farther in arena/coliseum.
Rly solid game with solid stage building and storylines. The comedy is rly interesting and even in pixel you can tell the expression with their polished sprites. Above all rly f2p friendly, that is if you're just casually collecting unique heroes and don't think too much to climb for arena or collo
Played this game on release and had a blast, the game is fun with a bunch of funny quests/characters and loved the little puzzles that actually rewarded you with some good stuff.
Been playing for 40 days, the game is very f2p and have climbed to top 7000 in colloseum and top 3000 in arena everything can be acquired as f2p if you grind a bit every day as the event rewards are very generous along with the milage shop that helps you get things you want without gacha
I am disappointed only now Guardian Tales is getting more attention. It is a great game and the developers have been making it more F2P as more updates are added. Sad the storyline is about to be from happy go lucky in Season 1 storyline into very dark future soon for Season 2 storyline.
lol, that Legend of Zelda reference at the end, Master Blade, and while having a red tunic that character searching for it was just a female link, even with the pointy cap, now I wanna see Link with a laser gun, ancient arrows BOTW are kinda like that, but knowing there was a plan for a sci-fi BOTW at some point just makes my mind go wild. XD
This game surprisingly have a really good story, and since they adapt an 'action rpg' model kind of thing, you dont really have to read the story separately like dragalia/gbf/(you mention it) but be the part of the story.
I've been playing Guardian Tales for a longer time now. It really is a nice game with a very funny story with many references. The game also has events like every two weeks which also have unique and funny stories (of course, with references too). Puzzles are also challenging. As for the gacha, I think it's one of the friendliest games for f2p-players. You get enough gems weekly to do 10-pulls. To get those gems you have to do the PvP Modes. There's colosseum - an auto-battle system between your team against another team from another player. And there's Arena where you have to play against another player actively - no auto-battle. At a certain PvP-rank you will encounter players with fully maxed characters which are really hard to take down. But it's easy to save up gems that way to pull for a character you want. The only thing I don't like is that you have to pull the exclusive weapons for the natural 3 star characters seperately, but there's a pity system too. tl;dr: absolutely recommend. at least take a look at it yourself. :)
While it does have somewhat more involved game play than the typical mobile gacha game, it still otherwise ends up being your typical mobile gacha game. For the first while, it's like most reviews describe it, a fun PvE adventure game with plenty of rewards to make it seem oh so free to play friendly. Although later, as the PvE story content just provides one time only rewards, once you've finished the story content, all you really have left is your resource dungeons, events, and PvP, with PvP now providing most of your gacha currency rewards, so PvP becomes the focus of your playing experience, and the PvP is of course pay to win. Aside from that, you'll want to be running about 99% of the time, but it's not the default move speed, you'll always attack in the direction of the closest enemy, except when you don't, and the ad spam when you launch the game is getting kinda nuts.
Been playing since launch and have 88% of the characters and have been free to play thus far, so the rates arent really that bad for me, one of my favorite parts of the game though is combining different lower tier equipment to get better equipment
If you didn't know each hero has their own exclusive weapon Only heroes that are rare and Unique have exclusive weapons Aisha's exclusive weapon is a rapier I forgot the name but I have it What's the reason for exclusive weapons you ask? Because Their skill look awesome with the right hero I don't know vishuvac's Exclusive weapon since I haven't gotten her
They should release it on steam or PC, it would attract a lot of players, plus it would be nice to play it with a controller (Yes I know bluestack exist, but its always more fun to not have to rely on third party)
Okay this needs to be cleared up for new players there's only 5x free draw and the free 10x rolls your'e saying you have been getting every week is the mail rewards, daily login attendance or from colosseum and arena plays
@@kishi7479 sorry should have clarified that it's from arena and colosseum, but still, it's not hard to do and it's 3000-4000 free plus the free gems i get everyday from the mail. Compared to other games *cough* genshin *cough* this is very f2p friendly. Don't get me wrong you'll get shit on from time to time by whales that have max limit broken bari/nari/marinna/ogma. But it's still really easy to progress and get strong without spending money on the game.
Is it just me or gatcha games are trying to step up their game lately? Feels like some actually good games are coming out. If you can keep your discipline and F2P them looks like fun time.
I can't answer if he spent money or not, but just by playing through the chapters, u do end up getting a LOT of summons for free. between 50-150 diamonds for clearing each main story stage, depending on how much collecting you did, and every single stage of gold, exp, item, gem, and character upgrades gives u 50 gems on ur first clear, plus there are decent rewards for clearing each chatper.
@@im2shady4u13 I don't doubt you get a lot, it's how mobile games hook players. But even Genshin Impact claims to give you a lot in the game already. And yet we see people spending absurd amounts to get one or two key characters.
@@ShikenAegis I'm not saying it's inherently bad. All I'm saying is: "if there was money spent, how much was spent?" It gives potential players a good idea of the gacha hell they are about to embark on. The game looked really good for what it is, but it doesn't make it any less of a gacha just cause it's generous in the first few hours.
This game is honestly one of the most generous and f2p gachas to play. It has easily risen to my favorite mobile game ever since I downloaded it. I had an issue with accessing my card on my account so I'm fully f2p, but I'm getting to the point of 2 fully decked out teams simply because of how many gems are tossed at you.
need to uninstall the game cause my phone don't have enough storage, you could say that I'm already on late game, bought a new phone, download it and connect to account and lost everything.... just like my account didn't even exist...
it's a good game, some nostalgic feelings and all, but it's a nono for me, i don't like the gacha stuff, in those games i feel that they want me to buy characters to have a better experience, but hey! good video, probably gonna download the game and delete it after one run or two.
Actually it's mostly free to play friendly and for buying a specific heroes you want you just need to accumulate 300 tickets or in this case you have to summon 30 times but you do you
Pretty generous game to be fair. They give gems almost each day and with every update, half a 10 pulls each week with the pvp and a 10 pulls each month with the login rewards. I have 6 3* heroes and spent nothing in the game, sitting at 12k gems atm. This game has the perfect stamina in gachas you can redo stages to 3* them without spending stamina.
