    I'm new to your channel. A fabulous cover, I bought some dragon eyes at Spotlight not long ago, I'm making a Game of Thrones Junk Journal, your tutorial has given me hope. I love the eggshell effect it's amazing, I never measure either, the blue eye looks incredible and I like the way you moulded the tissue around it to form an eyelid. This would have to be the best tutorial on any utube Iv'e ever seen. Thankyou soooooooo much for sharing. WONDERFUL. x

    I like everyone else love this process. When I was in college over 50 years ago, we made pocketbooks I, covered with egg shells like this.

    There is teflon and flour in baking paper,i use newspapper recycled,. 😉

      That’s an awesome idea! Might be a bit stronger than eggshells too, although quite thick 🤔 I’m actually wondering if torn & curved pieces of thick cardboard might work

      Hello and thank you. Yes you can use paper to make texture. There is also molding paste that sets. Ive seen someone use it with a material that like an open weave and she filled in the holds, it can out great.

    Mod Podge is not simply watered down PVA. A few simple Google searches can confirm with. While MP shares similar chemical components, it includes others (such as acrylic resins and solvents) that are NOT in PVA.

      Sorry I didn't see this earlier. Thank you. Im guessing you've already done your nieces journal and discovered the shells become more like a leather once you put a few layers of pva over them so no they don't crack.
