Your videos are my favorite ASL ones ive come across because you explain what is happening with the hands instead of only what to do with them. Sleigh would make much less sense and be harder to remember but the explanation of the blades means itll be harder to forget and easier to explain to others. Thanks for the information

Thank you for making these videos. I am a 12 year veteran and I've lost most of my hearing. I've been learning ASL by watching your videos. Recently, my hearing has taken a turn for the worst. I lost even more and everyone sounds like they're speaking through a pillow. I am also a community theater actor, I was cast as Ebenezer Scrooge and I had to perform almost completely deaf last week. I got through it but it made me realize how fragile healthy hearing is.

A tip for anyone needing to slow it down during the sentence portion of any videos; Slow it down to .5 speed. This has helped my kids (and me, let’s be honest 😂) to work on the sentences without being overwhelmed.

omgsh I have a mini Boogie board, I highly recommend them, I got mine years ago & it's still helpful & works well today! Also thank you for the wonderful video! I love learning along with you, & your daughter's imagination is so great, I definitely laughed at the milk comment too 😆
Are you able to slow the sentence portion of your videos down a bit and explain further. You go very fast for us newbies over here. Thank you. We love your videos, but if you could slow it down every time like you did when your kids were helping, that would be even more beneficial to us.

I sure wish you were my mother! I wish Chris Voss were my father (I got the worst, most violent, most degrading piece of trash on earth for a father). If I had Chris Voss to teach me negotiation skills and you to teach me ASL skills, I would be doing so well in life right now.

Take positive action, prepare yourself for the life you deserve, I hope you seek ways to gain inner strength and create and find beauty in life. You can do this.

I believe that you have the ‘C’ sign all the way up but wile it’s going up you twist your hand

how did you get into ASL
My mom is a sign language interpreter. I grew up around Deaf people and their culture so I jumped right in and followed in her footsteps.
