I bought my Maverick HD about a month ago . I have the 54” with Honda engine. I’m loving mine so far , only issue I’ve had was hour meter quit at 8 hours . Dealership gave me a new one so I’m good
I was looking for one with a Honda. Dealer told me they were not making them with Hondas anymore. Good to know you are happy with it. So far so good here.
@@quinnatkinson Dealership I bought mine from says they still get some with Honda but they never know how many they will get . He had another one at his other dealership. Honda supposedly aren’t supplying many motors for mowers anymore
I bought my Maverick HD 60" Jul 25, 2023, did the 8 hr oil change today, man that oil hose plug was really tight, had to take my impact wrench to it. I really like the suspension seat (I mow 4 acres) mostly horse pasture, rough as a cob but a dream to mow with this machine. I have the Kawasaki engine, no problems for the 1st 8 hrs. I have a Bad Boy MZ Magnum 54" Kohler 725 cc engine that has served me well (except for one wheel bearing replacement, easy replacement), this is why I went for the Maverick HD. Thanks for the time and effort you put in to make this video, great job. Tell the better half to keep hydrated in this Georgia heat ( I live in Harlem, Ga). I’ve got the previous Maverick version from 2021 with 83 hours on it. Only problem so far was the bearings went out recently. You can’t grease them, so not sure if it was something else. Other than that, no problems at all.
My understanding is Honda is no longer making lawnmower engines. The Kawasaki is better than the Kohler. Most of your high end mowers are using the Kawasaki.
