Why did Kendrick duck everyone but Sean and Drake?
I think some of those Kendrick lines were also aimed at drake especially on "The Heart Part 4" & "Element".
The Drake vs Kendrick (extended video) has the lines for Drake on Heart pt. 4. I specifically used a few off that record. Element was more Big Sean from my understanding.

I love both Sean and Kendrick. Some of the animosity really came from the fact that Kendrick's verse on Control was largely hyped up thanks to the name dropping. Without that section of the verse, I feel like more people would admit Sean's verse was elite. But you can't say anything nice about Sean's verse without people thinking you're taking a jab at Kendrick. Regardless, K Dot did what he aimed to do, he made rap competitive again. And for that, and the rest of the music he has made, we'll always love him

It wasn't personal, I think Sean just gets tired of all the disrespect like he isn't one of the best of his generation (as far as mainstream quality goes). It was more of a "Look, y'all nice but I'm nice too." To me, the others came more polished and ready, Sean had to grow and evolve. He's aged like wine for my ears and I think he needed this "beef" to really elevate himself. Drake, Kendrick, and J Cole are the three that everyone talks about but I do think Sean should at least be in the convo. The best way I can put it would be they're Lebron, Steph, and KD/Kawhi, and Sean comes across like Dame Lillard. The little bro/son shit probably would grate someone's nerves, especially when they're having similar success to their peers as far as the music industry goes.
