You did fine. Frankly, this is the best Brian Stack interview on the Internet - it might be the only one, but still. At least you were the guy who got this important interview done!
Read description. Fully acknowledged. First interview ever conducted. Nervously speaking with comedy idol at 11pm in Late Night offices at 30 Rock. Apologies, sir.
Rule one for commenting on UA-cam: read the description for the video, where you will find my acknowledgment of my poor interview skills (this having been the first interview I'd ever conducted, done at 11pm on my last night in NYC, with someone I *greatly* admire). So my apologies to you, sir.
@octoberdays Chill, what's the problem? I'm surprised to see this. It is a different style. It's not a 20-second ET interview. It's a comprehensive, conversational style like Kevin Pollak's Chat Show
" i always loved comedy " wow how original Not ! I would like to here like " no . As a child i was collecting insects , mom and dad were laid back and strung out most of the time so i learned to drive the car and get this that and the other thing for me and them ; building space and time travel wormholes that actually worked for a few seconds(i never knew what time and space that ant i put into a wormhole went to), made my own 32 caliber zip guns to ward off bullies, played classical music by Shoenberg , Berg, Webern, Stockhausen . In junior high i spent most of my time reading and writing my treatise on the meaning of life . I read Karl Popper , Schopenhauer, the Bible, Nietzsche, the Koran, Hegel , Karl Marx , Sartre , Jean Jacques Rousseau , etc etc . Since when we think we are but get confused and get a headache, i would primal scream whenever i thought i was going over the edge , that would calm me down . but later on i was having a nervous breakdown and people were ready to take me to the unwitting dr.mengeles (shrinks) who load you up with drugs that are torture... I caught a glimpse of an old tv show rerun of Henny Youngmen telling jokes , i laughed . then i picked up an absurdist book Called "Jesus may have been an Apache and other Actual Facts" by Cully Abrell (Author), John Thompson (Author) absurdism and comedy saved my life from psychiatry and Nietzsche and Sartre, and i have been working at absurdist and conventional comedy ever since . writing and doing comedy can get pretty stressful at times so i still go on the street corner and babble nonsense, give the fingers to limos passing, engage in soliloquy , tell everyone im the King of Spain, and employ primal scream, etc to cool down and relax and watch old black and white movies on utube .
Brian is genius! Great interview.
