We have carpet on our ceiling too...ugh...thinking we will use a staple gun and thin wood and just go over the carpet. The carpet is on excellent condition. Also, I always say "we" too, even when my husband completes a job himself 😂...but I always have a hand in everything in one way or another...lol...thats how I justify it 😊
