Austin-Western was the first company to make a hydraulic "yard crane". Petti-Bone also made them. Those outriggers are like that so the machine has a lower center of gravity. They also allow it to have a short width for transporting on a low boy. Back in the day the 4-53T GM Detroit Diesel was the prime engine choice. Good review!!!
