A superb insight into what is needed to be a top class rider/team and fascination to enjoy. Looking forward to many more and a repeat of last year's TT stuff.
That was really impressive Wavey and Franco's clearly blessed with a shed load of natural talent...that 52.99 hangin onto Andy Irwin's coat-tails was mega...and he was spot on with his initial thoughts as to why he lost the front too!
Great to see real set up and preparation all the small stuff tyre pressures checking bolts really good always helps to have advice and that's bike's someone will always help. Can't wait to see Franco on track 🍀👍
Fantastic series and great last test at Andalucia! I was waiting with anticipation to see if he cracked a 1.54 and was blown away when I saw the 1.52.7!!! Having rode Andalucia I can appreciate how fast that really is!!!
Hi all just been watching the test never realised so much to do good to see other teams helping and then crash good to see Franco is OK and the bike is not mullered all the best lads
Amazing video , thanks for all the hard work and background information on your team and other Honda teams . Looking forward to seeing what happens in the various races ahead , Franco looks like he's going to be having a few good battles this coming season 🙂.
Nice to see your started with Neil for those house wives views ;-P Great job showing what testing it like especially when changing bike. So many think its just buying a new bike and your fast out of the box. Really enjoyed it ;-)
Thanks. My top-Tip for non slip handlebars is Self AMALGAMATING Tape, it is equaly sticky on both sides, just enough to relax your grip and give confidence.
Bloody brilliant stuff, thanks Dave (and team). Lovely to see McPint sounding less-than-impressed about the antics of the official Honda Race Kidz; and Davy Todd's dazzling white teeth. Thank god the sun wasn't shining on 'em at the time! BTW Dave, is DT defending his British Superstock title this year, or has Clive splashed the cash & stuck him on a Superbike?
@@obsession_engineering Wow! Thanks for that Dave. I have a feeling Mr Todd will soon be upsetting a good few established BSB names. Exciting stuff (to counter the Irish Racing bombshell).
'Ere, Dave, if you want the sound of the on-boards to match the excellence of the shots, you should tape the fluffy lapel mic that you shove under peoples' helmets to the underside of the rear fairing, out of the wind. It picks up the sound of the engine without the wind noise.
Love everything in this video. "don't need your pit limiter around here, heh" .... you should always pretend there's a pit limiter even if there's none.
Seen too many engine mounts broken off and frames damaged from the impact on the mushrooms, so I don't run them. They can save little bits in slow crashes, but can cause significant damage too
Damn me but Franco is fast!!! .... I have to admit i love the infectious enthusiasm you guys have and i am right into all the "behind the curtain" insights.... Obsession Engineering is MY new obsession lol.
I really like seeing how friendly all the teams are with each other. It's a nice look behind the scenes.
This is absolutely amazing. Probably the best motorcycle racing content I’ve ever seen. Good luck Franco. 👊
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it
He's got the speed and talent and intelligence.
Very impressive!
I'll not tell him, he'll only get a big head 🤣
Fantastic videos, keep em coming! Cheers, Doug
Just amazed at how fast Franco is with no time on the bike. Great to see such a tight group working together. Come on Silverstone.

Thanks for another brilliant video glad Franco is okay. That young lad can definitely ride wishing him and team all the best.
Very, very well put together super interesting video!!👍 Hope you do some more - soon. 😁
Looks like a cracking circuit with the mountain backdrop and bloody fast
Perfect pre-season content! Awesome work by all. See you at Round 1.
hard work pays off! well done boys!!

It really is fast 😬
That was outstanding, just loved every minute. Amazing to see the help from the other teams given so freely, heartwarming.
We're lucky to have some great people around us
Just the thing i need to watch to keep mind of the pain as i had a total knee replacement on monday, I've been your content for hours 👍
Hope you feel better soon!
Hi all just been watching the test never realised so much to do good to see other teams helping and then crash good to see Franco is OK and the bike is not mullered all the best lads
There's some really good people about, and luckily Franco is a nice lad so more people are willing to help
A real good insight of testing behind the scenes bike set up
Amazing video , thanks for all the hard work and background information on your team and other Honda teams . Looking forward to seeing what happens in the various races ahead , Franco looks like he's going to be having a few good battles this coming season 🙂.
That’s awesome!! Best quality stuff I’ve seen in ages! Best of luck to you and the team!
Awesome content Dave and the team. Great insight into how the team functions. Go Franco……
Fantastic series Dave, very enjoyable and educational......Franco looks to be a proper racer 👍🚀
Looks like the Honda Fireblade is the choice for top riders in 2023, nice video again Dave
Fantastic content Dave, thanks as ever.
Awesome think Francos going to have a good season.

DT is having a full superbike season. Will be good to see how fast he can go
@@obsession_engineering Wow! Thanks for that Dave. I have a feeling Mr Todd will soon be upsetting a good few established BSB names. Exciting stuff (to counter the Irish Racing bombshell).
Great vid as usual mate
Great team work Go Franco
Best thing on the u tubes
Watching from South Kaipara Head Aotearoa NZ
Another great episode 👍
And now a second on Saturday at Silverstone absolutely epic 👍👍👍👍👍
Are you headed back to Mexico in the fall Dave? This scenery is looking familiar.
'Ere, Dave, if you want the sound of the on-boards to match the excellence of the shots, you should tape the fluffy lapel mic that you shove under peoples' helmets to the underside of the rear fairing, out of the wind. It picks up the sound of the engine without the wind noise.

Great insight many thanks.
Around 20 mins, that bike sounds unreal
All the best to you all ❤❤
Spot on
Are you riding the TT this year?? I saw you at Donnington on Monday but was too star struck to say hello 😂
I am at TT... There's vids coming for that too 😁
Love everything in this video.
"don't need your pit limiter around here, heh" .... you should always pretend there's a pit limiter even if there's none.
Why don't you have crash protection on the frame eg crash mushrooms
Seen too many engine mounts broken off and frames damaged from the impact on the mushrooms, so I don't run them.
They can save little bits in slow crashes, but can cause significant damage too
Aww Padgett's Dave is such a sweetheart!
Awesome video. Wish more people in the USA were racing this bike so I could get some tips. Lol
If you need some info, drop me a message
@@obsession_engineering I still got your email. I’ll shoot over some questions. Thank u. Can’t wait to see Franco’s first race
That was great.
ha , all the modifications (sure the mony) are needless ? if windspeed turn up to xx km/h
Luckily it's not a drag bike 😁
So cool
Magic 🏁🏁
He’s some boy 👌
You're right there 😁
I'll tell you something, if I was testing in Spain, I'd be getting laps in. Wind or no wind 😂
We were beginning to run low on tyres, so didn't want to waste the laps. Saying that, I'd have gone out 😁
wanted a 1.54 got a 52 not a bad day
We were impressed 😁
testing it to your limit
Billet swing-arm, really?
Yep, utter bling!
@@obsession_engineering Are we talking billet as in solid piece of aluminium?
Nice
Geeat video
