housing prices are sick,,infact maad ,,Soo many People are geting paid less than l000dh a month after a hard work...The curreption is fare to big...most of the housing been sold to the trade ,hoping go sell for a profit..but now they are finding very hard to even sell with no profit at all ,,some of the traders are just wanting there mony back,,The housing market went out of control some 5 years ago as result of corrupet proprety devolopers by artificialy pushing up the prices to a sick level.
You got to be nuts to buy property in Morocco..

2008 was a spectacular demonstation of criminal negligence. And no one (espcially US credit agencies) was ever held to account. If you can profit without work from property it becomes very tempting to speculate. And it is not victimless.

Depend where you buy same in France if you buy in Paris it's really expensive but If you buy outside you pay Notting but in Morocco yes there is it problem the salary don't equal the housing market and the most people who buy are marocains who live in Europe so the people remain poor I also see a lot of Spanish French ectr living in Morocco now wen Spain went bankrupt many Spanish people went to work in Morocco
moroccans need 10 years to build a simple house.. poor qiality as well. dont buy there.
