Think overall package, folks. All this talk about power is overrated. 90% of drivers will not even come close to utilizing this car's potential. This is a well-balanced, superbly crafted automobile that is fast, refined and luxurious. Then again, luxury and refinement is not for everyone.
I like when my cars punish me...Seriously though I don't mind this car, it's a bit over-done on some of the styling cues, but performance seems good and the reliability of Lexus is a nice bonus.

Why pay 45 thou for a pre owned all electric Tesla, when I can foot the bill for the same amount on a vehicle that will end up costing more than it will ever be worth, once driven off the lot. Let me know which one you get, so I can sign you up for the gasoline, oil changes, transmission servicing, relief fund :)
Not a fair comparison. It's like comparing a CLA45 to a C350. A Mercedes CLA45 will be smaller and, If you only have $47,000 to spend, will not be as well equipped. Besides, the CLA is a FWD drive based car. Not many driving enthusiasts are okay with that, just the typical posers that buy Mercedes.

"even though it's front-wheel drive in normal use, can send up to 50 percent of torque to the rear wheels--and it does it so smoothly, so transparently, you'll never think of it as a wrong-wheel driver" Plus the CLA has better numbers for mpg and 355 HP coming from a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder. And not to sound like a badge whore but I would rather have the three pointed star than the slanted "L"
