From Danger to Bargaining

As Doll Merlina and Mary head back to where Mallery is at, Mary trips over her dad's corpse. Doll Merlina is able to freeze time long enough to teleport Carlos to Mallery. She knows better than to try to heal a dragon without a rider because of the connection and because of unforseen circumstances. Mallery is left in shock by the sudden teleport and doesn't snap out of it before Mary gets there. Mary and Mallery are shocked when Doll Merlina reveals why she can't heal Carlos, and are left alone while Doll Merlina goes out to clear her mind. What will happen when she gets back? Find out soon.
