It's the first time I've seen this gig from start to finish. What a magnificent performance and what a beautiful crowd! How fortunate we were to meet Interpol on our way!
thanks for a good contribution interpol is a band that has a lot of people who don't like Paul's voice I don't care because that makes it a unique rock band special
Interpol are probs my all time favourite band of all time and I’ve seen them 11 times and had the time of my life each time, but it proper melts my head that people think they’re a great live band. I love watching them live so much and having that experience but they are not super tight like everyone makes out.
@@futuremarkets they used to be extremely tight in performances their earlier years with Carlos. This performance was solid, Daniel was definitely sloppy in this vid
@@futuremarkets Same. I've seen them live 4 times I think and they are not great live. Paul's vocals are different every time I see them, meaning unreliable. Sometimes his voice is flat o off-key and his stage presence leaves a LOT to be desired. You're lucky to get 2 words out of Paul beyond introducing the other band members. He strikes me as pretty shy, which is fine, but interacting more with the audience would help. And every show I've seen it seems like they just rush through all the songs and the set never lasts more than 90 minuets, including encore. Paul just strikes me as someone who doesn't get into the tours and live performances. But the records, oh dear, I'll listen to them for the rest of my life.
He has improved his performance a lot, just look the TRNSMT (BBC 2018), he is really really good bassits! I think is more the appereance just because he looks a quiet guy.
@@fnico95tube Yes. I wonder if he's bisexual. This seems a little revealing. I'm not used to see men looking that way to other men. Or maybe he's just an average straight guy.
Does anyone know why at 1:09:14 you can see Daniel singing the ending of PDA but we can’t hear him? My favorite part of this song is DK’s iconic vocals
Hello Hulk Hogan, by looking at Glastonbury 2014 on Yahoo, I learned that the video would be removed following a complaint by Glastonbury Festivals Limited for copyright infringement. I can't understand how this is possible, since the video was filmed by the BBC with permission from Glastonbury in 2014!
"Banks was born in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, on 3 May 1978.[2] His family left England when Banks was three years old and moved to Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.[2] They then moved to Spain when he was around 12, and it was here that he studied at the American School of Madrid in Pozuelo de Alarcón before the family moved back to the U.S. to settle in New Jersey.[3][4] His father was later transferred to Mexico, where Banks finished high school at the American School Foundation in Mexico City.[5]" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Banks_(American_musician)

Finally. An audience that seem to appreciate this fucking band.
We are all here… watching, watching.
I love this outfit on him, the whole band looks delicious.
I know, he’s menswear candy.

Me too :-D She's damn beautiful.
Can't blame him
This is the most beautiful thing that has ever existed and always will be

A very great show, and at 1:09:40 the final wonder!! obviously I am referring to his face!
LOVE this band ❤️

Great, great show. Thanks so much for uploading this one.
fantastic band !!!
cool vintage carrera cca 1980 sunglasses... I wish these guys would make a cameo in the next men in black film...it would be nicely poetic 8^]

I think that this is the most mistakes I have noticed on an Interpol performance but even so it's great to watch them make mistakes.

Cant wait to see em in Berkeley next month!.
Honestly, I really like the new bassist, he’s cool, but not as cool as Carlos.

Carlos was a character. You don’t replace him.

What are those shade glasses that Paul is wearing? What's their name? So stylish
Hi, Antonio: looks like some Wilde sunglasses with a thin metal in the bridge.
Man, Lights is a tough one to do live...

I was wondering where it went that was such a well shot version of them live and the sunset made it surreal

the lead guitarist was so off tempo in this performance. he should stop moving around so much and focus on nailing his part.
