Not to go all “fan boy,” but it’s quite nice to see Scottie growing into a leader before our eyes. He’s matured a great deal this last year. Great to hear him giving love to coach Darko and highlighting Davion’s on-ball defence (personally, I think the team looks far, far better defensively with Mitchell and Bruce Brown instead of IQ and Gradey Dick).
“True leader” 🙄. Yet, he wasn’t effective playing without RJ. RJ was effective playing without Scottie. This is weird. I want RJ out of this weird place and in a place that seems to appreciate him.
I want what you’re on 😂😂😂 if there is ANY place where RJ is appreciated, it’s in Toronto. Do u not see the amount of responsibility he has as opposed to what he had in New York? He’s got so much more freedom here to be himself. As for RJ being “effective” without Scottie - was he really? We lost almost every game when Scottie was out injured. Sure RJ was putting up better numbers but that happens naturally when your star player is out. It’s not a coincidence that we’ve won 5 of our last 6 - Scottie has been playing excellently like a true all star.
@@jaspd17 I’m not pitting RJ against Scottie. But, I speak the simple truth. RJ had the team competitive against good competition. And, he himself was effective. Scottie was simply not good without RJ to add support. I see in every conference these dudes pump Scottie, crickets on RJ. Was he not as responsible for last night’s win? The Raptors social media account promoted Scottie for All Star. Not one single post for RJ. Darko talks so highly of Scottie as if RJ hasn’t been holding this team down this season. It’s just weird. RJ deserves better treatment and more respect.
@ I agree with u that RJ has definitely been underrated this season and yes the Raptors should’ve promoted him for all star I think that was retarded that they didn’t. But with that being said I think you’re being very very harsh on Scottie. Our win percentage is more than double with vs without him (.154 vs .344). His impact on the defensive end is tremendous. If anything, RJ benefits way more from Scottie being out there with him. His FG% is way up (almost 10% higher with Scottie) because he gets higher quality looks. From the way u talk about it, it sounds like u are pitting RJ up against Scottie, when the reality is that they both benefit from being out on the floor with each other.
Where my boy RJ? They made him in an OG
Scottie is SOOO much better in public than a year or so ago Growing leader!
Darko sounds like a real professional and he has been taking care of business
Keep Chris Boucher in Toronto, pay the man!!
Definitely 👍🏻
Let’s go raptors! First comment let’s goo

Does anyone else find Doug Smith annoying?
He has been there through thick and thin, why not show him the respect he has earned?
