Stan Blits NEEDS to bring these classic prize music cues back to The Price is Right, the show IS NOT the same without these classic music cues, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH
I was born in 1988 and I second @@hoodmistressreloaded here. I grew up on the 90s/early 00s TPIR. S50 was fine and all but TPIR is just not magical anymore. Music is a huge part of that. I don't even notice what the music is anymore. The heart of the show left with Bob and Roger. At least Alexis Gaube brought a shot of fresh energy the show needed badly after how horrendous S49 was. S49's (justifiable) lack of an audience made it abundantly clear how soulless the show has become in all other areas, and the cringey intros for contestants were NOT the substitute that the show should've sought. Really, not counting models, the only thing the current show does better is offer fewer crappy prizes.
I think it more, if you’re thinking Christian Heaven, it’d be while St Peter has Rod and Johnny reading off his work to reduce animal harms, his refusal to be involved when furs are prizes, and other charity works.
I remember playing this on the trombone when in middle school. And a teacher asked me are you playing “Price Is Right” music. I said “Yes.” She was impressed I even knew this. Edd Kaleoff, you are a GOAT!
This is my all-time favorite music cue. It was usually used in showcases. Very rarely did you ever get to the 1:20 mark with the guitar. I always freaked out when it went that far. :)

I've been searching for this! It popped up on the Netflix TPIR movie, but wasn't credited. Last Sunday it showed up on Sunday Night Football, but again no credit. I LOVE this piece. I hear it and it immediately slams me back into a childhood memory. It gets amazing at 1:20.

You have to thank people like Sheila Cole, Edd Kaleoff , Robert Israel and the Score Production staff. They wrote a lot of the Mark Goodson/Bill Todman game show themes especially TPIR.
I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard. Me and Guy Percy of Benson North Carolina had a band about ten years ago where he just- he is a brilliant transcriptionist- transcribed the lines and changes from a website and we playe3d them in a jazz quartet.

By the end of the Barker era, this was the primary cue for furniture showcases. My mother always called it the "crummy Showcase music."
Ah, but don't forget Splendido. That one was used right up until Barker left as well.
I only remember this cue being used for primo showcases.

Every time I here this cue it takes me back to the time I'm at home sick from school and mom always have the price is right on.
This was played alot when prizes were introduced on the Race Game
+CrestwoodRocks It was the original main cue for Super Ball as well before going to MGHS.

Adam Smith True, but the 1976 music package was mostly by Edd Kalehoff and/or Walt Levinsky. (I do know for a fact that Levinsky wrote "The Feud".)
