So, as a kid, I remember going to the Polish Hall in Port Washington, Long Island with my parents and having the privilege to watch and hear Happy Louie play…….all night long…..this brings back memories some 50 years later….Thank-you!
First time seeing this (2016) visit to Pulaski Park video. It must've been a thrill for the younger Box On members to meet Louie and Julcia. I'm sure Mom and Dad have in the past. Unfortunately my plans to meet you guys in August had to be cancelled. I lived just down the street from Pulaski Park in my early, early childhood.
So great to see you play for "Happy Louie"!! I could just feel the excitement you all had in your hearts while you played!! Imitation is the highest form of flattery and Alex was and is phenomenal! I love his "Happy Louie" moves as I know many others do to! Great job all of you!! wish I would have been there.
