Yes sir I hear that. you will like these videos cuz I keep quite a few of the Bass. bass are a good eating fish. I personally have swapped over to crappie and bluegills in my later years but there's nothing wrong with keeping some bass to eat.
Bowfin/Choupique are great eating in the Winter.
Did not know that. A lot of guys told me they are not too good. I'll have to remember that so I can try one.

People have been catching a bunch of crappie on the lake I live on here in South Carolina so I’m hoping to get out on the boat tomorrow and get a few. I don’t mind seeing some bass videos. If that lake access isn’t much of an access and more of a narrow, steep, root filled drop off into the lake, then I think I know where you are at.
If it’s where I squirrel hunted back in the winter, I was eyeballing the lake and thinking I needed to make a fishing trip up that way come spring.

Yes sir. crappie nipples work good. They did not really want to bite any thing in this lake this time. But I catch crappie with them a lot of the time. Thank you
Watched a lot of your crappie videos last few days . Some good stuff I enjoyed them. Just curious about all the rod swapping left hand to right hand and back. Looks like you are left handed maybe why don’t you put handle on other side for right retrieval? Lots of unnecessary hand movements
Yes sir, it is true I am left-handed. my dad handed me a spinning reel when I was a small kid, it was not swappable so I got into the habit of using it that way. I know it's a lot of work but I Still have a great time. I actually think the time delay helps the lure fall longer causing more crappie to strike. I Appreciate you watching. Thank you Steve.
