the treasure hunt one gave me an idea:
basically a normal treasure hunt but at the end is another book, saying "you've reached the end of the treasure hunt. extend the treasure hunt by one extra step and put this book there."
Claim the reward, extend it by a step and create a new reward. Would be my call.
yeah that is a good one. And I like the idea of there still being a reward/pay ot forward
mission: wear another hermits head and try to see how many hermits mistake you for the original hermit.
Beef (and some other beta testers) have some old iron nugget tokens that need swapping out when you can connect with them.

Mission: draw another mission and get any other hermit to complete it without knowing that they are doing the mission. When completed both you and the other hermit can submit the completed mission for a coin

Iskall is out here recreating Secret Life on the Hermitcraft server and I am all for it.
My favorite little random prank thing is just grabbing a stack of something and renaming it to the most random thing (a stack of cooked chicken to "Bartholomew" or something)
Mission: Haunt another hermit, moving stuff when they are not looking make scary sounds at night and creep around with invisibility!
- build something on another Hermit's base that is consistent with their build style for the season
- finish or decorate another Hermit's project, or do the interior of an empty decorative building. Do not tell them you did it, and do not include footage in your episode
- pretend like you're having a tip-of-the-tongue forgetful moment (when you can remember everything about an object or idea but can't remember the name) when talking with another Hermit. Reject every suggestion given to you until the other Hermit is annoyed
- sleep in another Hermit's bed right in front of them
- log on at a time you don't normally log on. The first Hermit you come across who you normally don't interact with due to time differences, help them with whatever they're doing
- find someone who's AFK and AFK with them. Repeat this until they comment on it.
- nametag a non-hostile mob and put it in someone else's base
- tell a true story about yourself to your audience that you've never told before. It doesn't need to be private or personal, just something that normally wouldn't come up naturally

For the "Mission Possible Build Site," perhaps you could add other missions that require the hermits to do something else, like "Terraform some of the area," "Extend it vertically,," or even "Take down an existing portion."
I posted this mission idea on the official Iskall video asking for suggestions, was lucky enough that people liked it :)
Mission: Sneakily create a small shrine to yourself in another hermit's base (while they are online). If you are found while building, you must leave giving no answers and try again until the shrine is completed and you are not caught. A shine must be 3x3 and include your head, a lectern (with accompanying book that hypes you up) and offerings (these are up to you).

Joel had a secret life task where he had to use 3 lines from the song "all star" whilst in conversation. You could definitely reuse that. maybe mix it up with different songs/artists.

Bdubs is currently on a mission where he has to build another hermit face and the hermit that bdub chose has to find it. He chose Skizz (and Zed). Skizz found his face ep 15 so the mission book is returning soon, I guess.
Mission idea :have the hermit inpersonaite one of mumbos store owners at his shops until he notices. (Example change skin and act like big ron). They need to sell one item relating to their character. (Sell computer parts)
Random thought... Are there other things besides the bell ringing that can set off whichever signal strength it is that the mission dispensing circuit detects? I mean, perhaps it's been set off unintentionally some number of times and the items despawned because nobody noticed? And what's the range for detection on the sensor compared to the range for hearing the sounds? Can it be set off without being close enough to hear it?
Use a lead to suspend a mob from a fence post at 0, 150, 0. If there is already a mob there, add another. You cannot have multiple mobs of the same type there unless all leashable mobs are present, at which point you must add the one which is least populous on this reverse totem pole.
make it any passive mob and see what sort of reverse totem poll gets created.

Mission: Rename a common item with a silly name, and hide it in your base. Creatively convince another hermit to help you look for it. the mission is complete when they find it.

Mission possible idea every time you talk to someone, you must talk to them as though they are the viewers in your episodes must do three interactions this way
Beef and Cub have a book publishing business in the works that they need to get a move on. Send a "do or be sued" notice expressing your need for their services "soon tm". Cub will laugh and then help you out. Cub can also explain the details on why you need this service, but trust me that MP inc needs it.
Here's an idea, create a bunch of clues for a treasure hunt that leads to nothing, but requires the hermit that follows the clues to do ridiculous things in their way to the "treasure" Leave the fist clue at a random hermit's base
Idea: think of a random number before flipping the page, on the next page it says: you must place that many blocks in a hermits base, it must be noticable
You could also add rarity levels to mission books!
You can add some books in 10 times, some 5 times, and some only once.
Makes some more special and/or desirable mission books that are rare, some normal ones like you have now and some that are very quick and easy to do but a bit dull (but give you tokens faster).
You could also make some rare missions that are only one offs, so they are DONE done after someone completed the mission once.
Here’s an idea based on the hide a tamed animal idea: Hide 3 named hostile mobs in someone’s base(you can choose whether or not to include creepers cause I know they can cause damage to a base).

yeah it would probably be a good idea to throw in some duped missions... considering how hard some hermits have it with their missions currently

On Mission #25 you should've put the coordinates of the Apartment building and get the mission impossible players to add the apartments without them thinking about it

Convince a hermit that you are doing a different mission. Your mission ends when they have successfully called you out on your behaviours for being part of a mission.
Mission idea: build some type of structure or thing (doesn't have to be big) in another hermits base without being discovered. Wait until they are online and contrive a reason to meet them at their base, where you will then help the hermit discover who built this mysterious thing in their base. As this goes on drop increasingly obvious hints you built it - continue until discovered.
I think a great mission would be: perform any former mission from memory (reroll if cannot think or haven’t completed one yet)
The most important mission. Tell Joel 3 things he should like about Iskall. To get him ready for the tunnel of love surprise. 😂
Mission Idea: Help a hermit with what they're doing. Engage them into a conversation and then ask for a payment before leaving.
You should have a hermit randomizer in the mission possible building. A lot of missions say “pick a random hermit” and it would be fun if you had a machine in the building to help them out.
Mission: convince other hermits that you are getting people together to fight the dragon with wooden swords or something but then when you all show up to fight don't fight. Just pretend but don't actually do any damage to anything
Might be a good idea to have duplicate mission books, and a recycle chest, in case someone gets the same mission twice in a row.
Would be hilarious if 2 hermits have the same mission and are trying to do it to each other and don't even know until the end lol.
make a room with signs that have mission descriptions on them, then instead of dispensing books you dispense papers / items with numbers corresponding to the missions.
this could insentivise people to re visit the mission place if they forget their mission
I like the self referencial missions, would be cool to have one that's something like "give a hermit the mission: give another hermit a mission of their choosing" or something maybe something with copy books "give a copy of this book to another hermit in person, the original needs to be returned to mission possible" and it would be funny people looking at it and seeing that's a copy... something like that.

Mission idea: mid conversation talk to another hermit about a game that they have played but you haven't, pretending that you've played it before.
Mission Idea: Have a conversation with a hermit of your choosing and do not move at all. The mission is complete when the hermit calls you out

its almost like there are 24 hermits on the server and its possible that they all could be currently on a mission lol
empty one of the hermit chests/shulker and disguise it as a gift to that hermit and say "I know you are in need of this item"
Idea: Sue another hermit at bdubs court for tresspassing on a property of your chosing but your barrister is a screaming goat
the tamed animal mission is all fun and games until iskall gets another 17 cats from stress
Great missions! How about "create a pop-up shop in the shopping district selling water. If such a shop currently exists, change it to a dehydrated water shop.
Mission idea: stand still in a hermits base whilst talking to them and act like you are moving about and the hermit is lagging

Send a love letter to a hermit of your choice through the mailing system. You must sign off the letter with, your secret admirer...love ____. You complete the mission once the hermit responds. You can not let them know it was a mission
I can whole heartedly agree that stopping a gamer from gaming is the biggest crime. Its the epitome of intentional infliction of emotional distress.
mission posible idea: gift something worthless to a hermit. Ask them at least three days later about it, if they still have it you won the challenge (you can't rename the item) if they lost it you have to try with another hermit

Another mission- replace one of Doc's redstone diamond blocks with another block. He wants to make it the whole server's problem so do it for him :)
