Sometimes I’ve noticed my man being in a quiet state of contemplation and have asked him 2 questions either time ..one question that works and one that doesn’t. I can ask him “what are you thinking about?” or I can ask him “what’s wrong?” Most times if I ask “what’s wrong?” I get the response “nothing” and it could lead into an argument. But what I’ve found is asking “what are you thinking about?” he actually tells me and we have a very productive conversation about it. It’s all about wording. As a woman I understand the importance of wording as I can feel some type of way if the wording is off. But I think it’s important for women to recognize how their wording or how they phrase things also impacts their partners response.
I ask my husband, "What's wrong?" When I see him not being himself. It's a netrual question he can explain in his own words, and we take it like a puzzle to help us both understand to make it better. Somedays is him, and somedays is me. I never assume it is me. It could be his job, the kids, me, or just overstimulated by his surroundings.
So… you think we’d want to know why our partner is acting like a toddler? No thanks. He acts like this because he’s emotionally immature, not because he’s a man. Women also do this.

Wow, yeah! We'll said. I mostly knew this, but now I understand it.
Good advice!
Let him cooook, my man spitting facts😅
Wife legit asks me "what are you thinking about" whenever I get quiet. 9/10 times its random bullshit.

So asking "what are you thinking about" is that much of hassle?
Not everyone feels comfortable sharing how they feel. Call it how you want but when you love someone you’re willing to give some patience.
