    I did everything in this video and still couldn't see my printer listed to add it to my Mac. I fought with it all night and what finally made it work was something apple recommended on their forum which is to reboot your network router. Then it appeared on both of our Macs. Just sharing this hoping it might help someone else in the future.

    One of the most frustrating printers i worked with. I regret every moment I have to deal with this printer at home. I should have just bought a Brother Laser Printer. After having bought this Canon MF644cdw, I still end up using the scanner from the Brother Inkjet!! Its really frustrating.

      I feel the same. I've never had to reset and reload a print like this ever. It prints once it's resets and then when I go to print later after it has been idle I have to reset it. Plus, every time MacOS has an update I have to start over again. So frustrating.

      Agree - it seems like I have to set this printer up every time I print something (not a daily occurrence). What typically ends up working is just manually typing in the IP address and setting it up via Airprint. Depending on which driver you use sometimes you get different printing options as well. Frustrating and utterly inefficient! Who cares how fast it can spit out a page if it takes so much time and effort to setup EVERY time, over and over again.
