Susan I rarely comment on UA-cam but I must say that this was the first video I watched on your channel and I am hooked. You are such an excellent teacher and you have re-ignited my passion for fashion design because of how you simplify so many things that seem so complicated. I am now watching your videos one after the other and before the week ends, I'll get a dress form and get to work. Thank you so much for all you do.

Can’t seem to find a good tutorial which shows how to copy a ready-made top that has a bust dart in it. I have a couple of tops and dresses in my wardrobe that I would like to duplicate without pulling them apart. However, I’ve been stuck when I have to trace the dart onto the paper. I have asked people who sew and have watched so many videos on UA-cam but have had no success. I really like the way you explain the how-to in this video. Would you be able to make a quick video that addresses my problem, please?
i watched the whole video it is nice and helpful. but i have a question what if i have a plastic one and i want to transfer it into a dress form one can i do this? because i have a plastic one and i was thinking if i could thank you
sorry but i do not know the names.I have the one that you find at a dress shop made of plastique. It looks like the one you have. i do not know what it's called. sorry
Crochet LouLou if the dress form is plastic there is nothing you can do to make it cloth. If that is what your talking about. If your sloper is plastic you can transfer it to a cardboard sloper. I hope that answers your question. Keep watching:)

Thank you for this please can you close it and sew that big allowance at the shoulder dart.
The proper way to sew a large dart is to cut off the excess to 1/2” seam allowance then sew the dart.

Thank you
on which style can this method be used i mean using a shoulder dart
l have been learning, and share
Beautiful .. thank uuu
MASTER .....!!!!!
thank you!
Lovely. But what if I don't want a big dart that is so wide.
You then have to divide it into two darts and go from there.
Love it
Thank you! What do you like more, pattern making or draping?
both, but to make new patterns and designs
I see all what you doing
How can you do this with two darts on the bodice block?
You move one dart at a time
Super !
ايد ان اتعلم اون لاين انا من المانيا ؟

How much is the dart size in your sloper?
