I had a double cardiac arrest 8 months ago after both a Ventricular Tachycardia and Torsade's heart attack. Was gone for 6 minutes. There was definitely a feeling of ascension and total calm and peace before being rudely zapped back into life once again. But I can honestly say that there was a period of absolute serenity. Do not not fear the process. It felt as if it was the most natural thing I've ever experienced.

I hit the back of my head on my skateboard when I was twenty years old And spent a couple weeks in the hospital with two brain hemorrhages and my recovery was super hard and i developed an alcohol and drug addiction and major depression and listening to your story and seeing you talk about your experience helped me alot with realizing how hard that really was on me because no one understood what i was really going through. Youre right, if no ones been through something like that, theyll never understand. But i feel like i understand you and i love this podcast. I have seen every episode and rewatch old ones every day when im on my bike rides. I still have a beer now and again, but no more drugs. Its a work in progress. You know da rulez.
