Great Narration! I just found your channel and I’m going to go binge every upload!! Keep it up 👍
That makes me really happy to hear Brennan. I'll keep the videos coming :)
Great video, not much you could have done there. Looking forward to the next one
A bit of a misplay from Rielle.
Cracked the LED when they already had the Ideas Unbound discard trigger coming up on the end step.

Triple goldspan dragon is living the dream lol.
Thanks breacher :)
why you play an eldrazi titan in every deck is just so things like this doesn't happen. Not that I do that mind you, but I'm thinking about it, I own both Ulamog and Kozilek and only Ulamog is currently in my strongest deck because its part of an infinite combo.
I don't encounter mill win-cons all that much, so unfortunately the titans would probably be dead for me most of the time.
There needs to be a negative effect to players for scooping for no reason. 15min ban or something 🤔
Unfortunately playing online makes it easier for players to scoop at the smallest inconvenience.
Man does anybody else feel like infinite combo wins are kinda dumb? Like it's not even about skill, it's about getting lucky and drawing the right cards early enough before your opponents kill you. Lame.
It can feel bad seeing someone win like that sometimes, but that's why i run run little to no tutors in my casual decks. That way, even if i do have infinite combos, i have to work towards getting them.
I definitely think you did the best you could with such a bad starting hand. You had the mana to play anything you got, you just didn't have anything good to play. It can be hard to mull a playable hand because you might end up w/o the lands if you do.
This version of the deck is definitely less forgiving on mulligans because it runs less ramp in exchange for interaction. Which means it is dangerous if the game goes longer, but it is also susceptible to decks that go faster/hit their combo early.
You need more acceleration
So far the deck has performed pretty well without it, winning 8/14 games ive played in a meta that has currently been pretty cut-throat against it with regard to removal.
But it is important to note that the slots that would normally be allocated for acceleration was replaced with card draw or interaction: i think that's the only way you could make this work.
I will say though, if your playgroup is fine with running fast mana like mana crypt etc. then you may need more acceleration, because in that type of meta this decklist will probably not be fast enough to keep up.
This just looks like a great reason to not play edh on magic online. Who wants to play against tutored up instant win combos like that and players that drop because they didn't like their hand.
Magic Online can be tough sometimes because players scoop often and much earlier than what they would irl. But not all games are like that and it is very convenient to be able to get games whenever you like (especially as a content creator). In saying this, it definitely doesn't beat in-person magic, that's for sure.
You make a good point, but playing against tutored up instant win combos has been my experience with edh since the format was introduced to me back when it first made the jump from online to physical (back before wotc decided to make it an official format).
