I love fighting lion but the nerf it got in march has killed it. I can handle a 10% nerf in damage, but 20% means unless you manage a direct impact it fails at doing enough damage for priming purposes. The huge bow nerf on top basically killed my entire loadout and now im forever sad
If you can get the rain of fire boots fighting lion is still usable, although considering you said bow you’re probably a hunter player

Wardcliff coil was the heavy that I immediately thought of, but it’s been awhile since I really played pvp

here's the context:
your D tier:
I have 2 Trace rifles, Ex Diris Sweet business, Wish-keeper and Skyburner's oath.
your C tier:
I have Huckleberry, dead messenger, edge of Action and telesto
your A tier:
I have gravaton, Hard-Light, Crimson (catalyst is a work in progress), Osteo and riskrunner
your S tier:
I'm working on getting forerunner through Xur's quest for it.

Personally, I would say that weapon tiers are mostly pointless because it mostly comes down to a player and their play style that determines if they are good with a weapon or not. I will say that the extreme levels of tear lists are the most accurate, but again, play style.
For instance, I can not use hand canons to save my life, shotguns seem to hate me by never landing enough shots to kill while other players kill me from twice that range, sniper rifles don't exist, and YES Cerberus+1 needs a buff.(personally I would go for explosive rounds in every barrel)
Also, how do feel about gremlin weapons? Weapons you use not because they are OP, but ones you use to tick off other players in a fun "let's see how I can mess up their fight" plan. My personal favorite would be Skyburner's oath with a blinding grenade launcher and that one warlock exotic that gives you more scorch stacks. Do you have a Gremlin Build? (because sometimes it's fun to leave a room with a mischievous grin, knowing your crop dusting will bear such pungent and delicious fruit AKA Durian)

Polaris lance I believe should be higher considering the fast Ttk time and it’s rather easy to collect all the head shots considering it has zen moment the perfect fifth and the catalyst giving you dragonfly, I would go so far to say it’s hand-in-hand with the Jade rabbit I’ve racked up thousands of kills in pvp with both
I fucking *hate* going against Crimson. Genuinely believe that thing is made for people who refuse to learn how to use a proper hand cannon or a proper pulse rifle.
Edit: there it is. My fucking nemesis in the Crucible. MIDA. There is no gun in this game that'll make me rage as quickly or as often as MIDA.

trace rifles should have never been moved to special, exception being agers scepter and the navigator. the least used weapon type in both pve and pvp, ammo economy is unforgiving in both pve and pvp, damage numbers are okay in pve but you can make the same or close to the same damage with fusions and shotguns, doing it twice as fast and with way more forgiveness. and in pvp you have primary weapons that will kill faster, and due to the unforgivness most weapons ttk will be faster than the average ttk of a trace rifle. the only time ill even consider a trace rifle is a killing tally and overflow combo in pve and even then i probably wouldnt use it for 90% of end game activities. honestly they could move them to primary slot with no nerfs in pvp and it will still not make top 20% of weapons used in pvp.
