Hello. Thanks for watching my video. I know there are times when mosquito situation in Cayman can really be a nuisance, but recently it wasn’t really bad. Cayman have been spraying larvicides every now and then to minimize their presence. Let’s just hope that it won’t rain too much from now until you visit.
Hi…thanks for posting your experience. My family will be visiting the Islands in late July and planning to stay 5 days. Will it be too long/short? And I saw a few other clips from another local guy. He stated that the island is losing sand line due to water erosions. I would hate to go to find out we wouldn’t be able to enjoy the white sand beaches. Seems like you just returned from the trip so though you could give some personal thoughts. Thanks
Hi Lynette. 5 days would be perfect if you plan to experience all that Grand Cayman has to offer - (unless you had specific itinerary then that would depend). Re soil erosion, it was only on the small southern part of 7-mile beach, particularly the Marriott Beach Resort. But I believe sand has returned back - thanks to the storm last year. But you shouldn’t really worry about it ‘cause you can still enjoy the white sand beaches, especially the public (7-mile) and cemetery beach. Just note that public beach can really get crowded on weekends. If you have any other questions, just feel free to reach out.
Good job summarizing Cayman Islands. This video brings back great memories of Stingray City.
Awww 🥹 thanks so much, appreciate it.
Great video. Best we have watched about Grand Cayman. Your videography skills are really very good. Thanks.
Thanks for watching John, and for the kind words. Greatly appreciated!
Very nice! I am from Germany and may be will visit in autumn
Glad to hear. Note that June 1 to Nov 30 is a hurricane season, so you need to consider that as well when planning. 😉
