“They don’t make these 2000’s like they used to”
"I'm recording late so shorter game and analysis."
Proceed to record 40 minutes of highly educational content as per usual for the lulz. Never change Danya.
This is my heroin
I’ve been injecting this shit right into my veins ever since his first speedrun in 2020. God tier shit man.
This is honestly the good stuff
@@Arthas30000 Agad?
best chess content ever created, perfect balance between fun and learning
I would marry the female version of Danya
Its crazy to compare this 2000 with the 2000s in the old speedruns , people improved so much
Not all 2000s are created equal. Some are 1800s on a win streak and some are 2200s on a losing run.
You clearly didn't watch the 3 speedruns before this, because as they progressed the 2000+ rated opponents generally became worse and in the last run in particular were often losing in well under 30 moves.
@@aiGeis Sick sample size bro. You hear Anand lost in 6 moves once?
@@mikecantreed "often losing" implies more than one game. As in several of them played very poor and well below a 2000 elo level. Go ahead and try to disprove that the games haven't been getting less competitive and that only now are we seeing 2000+ opponents giving Danya a proper challenge again.
@@aiGeis It's YT man don't waste your time replying to this type of comments ( 2200 in a losing streak and 1800 in a winning streak ) I lost some brain cells while reading this
Ridiculously difficult game to understand, the tactics were insane
I disagree.
@@ignis6144 GM ignis disagree, not surprised
bro it was kind of simple ngl
@@ryuuu875 try watching other games of his speed runs before being a dick
@@leofox1676 If you think it was simple you're either IM+ or 600-
Okay, so he goes e5. Now a lot of people here would just lazily develop the knight to f3, but we actually have a move here that poses a lot of practical problems for black and is borderline winning for white. The move is Ke2, and do not worry I will explain this more thoroughly after the game. Now you might look at this position and say, 'isn't this weakening our king and blocking in our pieces?' And while that may be true, you guys need to start thinking long term. In the endgame, it will be a huge advantage to have our king activated in the center. Furthermore, black has no threats here, he is not going to checkmate us any time soon, the king is perfectly well defended on e2. Now he does have a nasty little defensive resource he can try here, let's see if he finds it. Wow, Ke7 he finds it. This guy is good. Now guys, I don't wanna hear any baseless accusations, we will check with an engine after the game. It's not unthinkable that a 1500 finds this move. No black has not equalized, we just need to play clinically to secure our advantage.
i heard this comment
This was perfect.
Lol this made my day. Need a Danya bongcloud chessable course, maybe next April fool's
Perfect
“biting on granite”
@38:30 "Right idea, wrong execution", really is a great compliment to the opponent with very intuitive play. Under incredible time pressure, having the intuition to play the right moves which were quite honestly, impossible for any human to find, really does show noteworthy blitz skill. What a great game. Kudos to the opponent on this one. Maybe not able to play up 650 points of rating but gave it quite a shot.
You are an incredible educator and I cannot express enough how much I appreciate you and all you do for the game of chess and those seeking to learn and improve it
That's something I wanted to write in the comments recently, but you did it for me )
Well said. Daniel is incredible at explaining situations
That Rc1 is one of the most spectacular defensive concepts I've ever seen, purely amazing
This is more useful than revising for biology A-Level tomorrow. Thanks Danya!
good luck!! (this is more useful than revising for my uni exam tomorrow)
Good luck, hope you ace it!(this was me through uni lmao)
Did the exam today I’ll come back when I get my results and say how it went
Yay!
Good luck
Best comment. “I’m gonna play Qc8 because I’m a professional” 18:28
That Rc1 line was a work of art. I know I'll never be able to see something like that, but it was a joy to witness.
7:57 i'll gladly spend my knight watching this speedrun game
That guy played incredibly
just your typical 2000 with 1400 blitz rating, lmao nothing suspicious about that
@@carlix20idk if that’s particularly suspicious. Some people are genuinely much worse at fast time controls. Im 1800 rapid and 1250 blitz
Amazing that we have access to this kind of GM-level detailed analysis. Thank you, Daniel.
Changing your main ideas because they don't work is something I struggle with.
Also, these defensive ideas and calculations after Nf4 were so instructive
I was looking forward to the next episode of this run!
I'd love a whole opening guide video about the grunfeld from black's POV or the queen's gambit in general from white's POV
Black played some truly inspirational attacking chess. Brilliant and creative.
I've never seen a chess channel so instructive. more people need to watch this stuff
nah, it's more beneficial to us if Danya doesn't become mainstream :D otherwise our opponents will get way too good ;-)
@@michalrehacek3462 maybe you should study and learn like them
@@robdubent you are really fun at parties, right? Next time I will attach "Sarcasm ALERT!" to my messages for people like you.
@@robdubent shut up
Looks like Danya is consoling himself when he puts his head down and goes "there, there, there."
😂😭💯
I spent my knight watching this.
Always a treat seeing a new speed run video. I’ve watched them all several times at this point
I was just craving a speedrun. Bless you Danya.
Damn. Kudos to your opponent. He played a great game.
This game was a masterpiece,
Keep this up I enjoy your content more than any other chess content!
Was thinking about the four knights opening and you uploaded this, thank you so much!
Thanks for the high quality game and analysis. Awesome!
Wow, great game. Instructive and fun to witness.
superb video, thanks
inspiring play! Thanks Sensei Danya
These are amazing. Each one is a valuable chess lesson.
Great stuff!
That KH2 idea was crazy instructive. I learned a lot from this speedrun game.
Just need you to know i fall asleep to your videos each night. Takes me about 15 minutes to fall asleep and the next night i return to the last thing i remember and do it again. So each video gets me to sleep about 3 nights a week. So you get multiple views from me each video. And also when you don't post a video in a few days just know I'm struggling to sleep😅.
same here haha, it's so engaging but so peaceful too I can't describe how
I'm playing this opening because of you, thanks for another video danya
Have not seen Daniel play the Vienna once on the speedrun? But have heard him say many times it’s one of the openings he’s playing?
Same. Where are the Vienna games?
"There is no way I would see any of that" says a strong GM 😂
That was some crazy defense i would have crumbled
I'm glad I was able to see these moves.
I just found my new fav chess streamer. Amazing analysis Danya, great content
this was so fun to watch. i'm not sure if i'll be able to apply ANY of that in my games, but still 10/10
Welcome back, Danya!! We missed you ❤
Thanks you danya. The 4 knights scotch i picked up from you
Exact calculation, beautiful.
Thx Dan. I really liked Rae1, seizing the initiative, especially with the intuitive follow-up Qe4!, looking for mate. Good game.
I learn more from your videos than any lesson I’ve paid for. That’s why I bought your opening course and book. Thank you!!
And Hmmm at times it almost seems like his opponent is stream sniping
Wow, what a game!
I might be wrong but I haven’t seen any Vienna games on this speed run. I would really love to see a Vienna game from you
It really is. The detail about the benefits of sacrificing the exchange, when the files are closed, because the rooks are relatively useless, there’s a new one for me. Thanks Danya!
In his "my first repertoire" course, Christof Sielecki recommends 5. Nxe5 which leads to a kind of wild position with white down a knight and the queen on g7.
wow, amazing \o/ cheers ;)
I would love to see you do a speedrun at 3+0 - and part of the explanation after each game details some of your strategies in time-pressure, and why you made such moves! Obviously, you'll be talking less mid-game, but the talking will come after. You can explain what you are and are not calculating in such time controls, etc. I think this could be super cool, after seeing you play out the end of this game here.
I saw the knight sac coming, but it was just cause I had been looking at it in an earlier position. Very very exciting game.
great game
The besssssssssst chess educator ever in history
Rc1 is awesome, thanks for that 😎
Danya the real content 🐐
I would've panicked in the later positions of this game for sure!
Daniel Naroditsky-the real deal
Don’t know if you look for suggestions here but the new main line is early …h5 in English attack versus the Najdorf. I believe on move 8… anyway would love to see your analysis on that. most popular line after coming on the scene about five years ago and always makes for a sharp game.
so that series of crazy lines between Re1, Rc1, and Rb1; i get the point and everything, the one thing i dont understand is what does e5 do?
The man, the myth, the legend.
Thx again Daniel. Bible name. U take my pain away for a while. Thx.😅
It’s hilarious you brung up Qg4 because my most recent game was won due to that idea. Very fun stuff although it wasn’t exactly winning, it gave me the push towards victory and reaching 1950 rapid. 50 more till 2000😯
Danya in the first 9:30 mins : Calm Teacher teaching move by move 😄.
Danya in the last 30 seconds : intense GM gameplay starts.
Daytime upload? Did I die? Is this hell?
“They don’t make these 2000’s like they used to”. Hehe. There is some youngster always chasing you.
this game should be turned into a movie
"They don't make these 2000s the way they used to" - Daniel Naroditsky 2023
I havent had my nightly asmr in a while.
I have a question about chess books. Im looking for a good Endgame Book and I have found Silmans complete Endgame guide and the book "100 Endgames you must know" by De la Villa. Now I cant decided which one of them I should buy. Where are the differences between them? Or should I buy both? May someone can help me, thank you
I feel dizzy with lettres and numbers spinning through my head after watching this. 😵💫I should wake up first before watching Daniel's masterclasses.
This and a blunt

2am going back for more speedrun
11:45 exactly what I think b4 hanging mate in 2 🤣
this is like my favourite netflix show
Greetings sensei
Даниил, ты самый охуенный шахматист и комментатор!
Спасибо огромное!
Jesus christ, the longer we go the more insane it all is. Man, how I enjoyed those 1100- 1200 elo games hahaha
Just by reading the title I knew the first 5 moves, I should be GM
Did we reduce the time to ten minutes each?
I love you
39:54 there is line Re8! Rf7 ,Qg6! Kh8, Rf8# is this possible Daniel?
"They don't make 2000s like they used to." - Danya, 2023
Insane but understandable
absolutely unbelievable engine tactics from 34:05, up yours if you think AI can't create novelty
at 32:23 after Bxc5 the Knight could have taken the other white bishop first on d3 and black is better there actually
I am very surprised you said that on the 4...Bb4 variation, after 5.d5 White (you must have meant Black!) is slightly better. What I learnt after I fell in the same mistake (5.d5?) after some analysis of a game I lost against an over 2.400 IM OTB is that 5.d5 is at least a dubious move, because it closes the center and it gives Black what he wants, that is a good game with pawns and pieces play on the Kingside
He said so later in the stream...
@@marcofrey2903 just saw it, I hadn't seen the analysis yet when I made my comment
I'm a simple man. I see a post by Danya, I view it.
i want some kind of meme speedrun smth like 30 seconds speedrun where the whole point is to win oponnent in 30s and u will be playing rapid or blitz and if u ran out of time ( u wasted 30 seconds ) and u not won the game u resign interesting what will be ur peak rating if u would play like that
Please upload video on Rook endgames 🙃
26:01
Anyone else catch Danya's Agadmator impression @25:58???
crazy game. kudos to black
33:00 The consolidation isn't straightforward...to lesser trained minds. So many variations to wade through. So many that I'd be almost certain I was missing something. With the clock working against you, you just do the best you can and "send it." And hopefully come away with some value via an analysis afterwards. But hope isn't a factor here. This analysis is unequivocally valuable. Kudos.
GM Naroditsky doesn't know about the Halloween Gambit ....4 NxE5!!!
I'm going back to checkers.
Computer says black is even until f5 blunders. Amazing how the knight sacrifice is considered drawing
Thank you so much! 🤍
