thank you so much! made it look a lot easier! doing this soon! i’m also doing a upper control arm on the same side i can definitely do it while i do thst
Uh oh! Could be dust shield yeah, they are typically more of a squeal though. Possibly something get stuck on a brake pad. Or a bad bearing. Hard to say from here lol
Be careful on the lift kit when I went to go get a new axle for drivers front they asked if it was lifted. So not sure if all lift kits with factory axles will be safe or reliable.
Yeah I've started throwing specs back in the videos. I stopped for awhile trying to encourage people to buy the service manuals lol. Let me know how it goes!
Yeah, sometimes I film the video then don't edit it for several weeks due to life and then I can't remember lol. Feel free to write them down and post them here for others like you who need to know!
This was the longest process I have seen yet. Thanks for great content tho

Good job and the video was well presented . I do have a question did you release the torsion bar tension prior removing the spindle ?
Thanks for the comment! I had no need to release torsion bar tension.
Yea never do that

There are a lot of variables that go into that yes.
I have to do this on my truck. What was the true amount of time it took to replace them both from start to finish?
Keep in mind I've done it a few times on various vehicles. These ones are on the easier side. I'd say about an hour per side
I have the exact Truck but a Laramie .My Paint is even PDR. I wish you would tell us what the torque specks are.

Be nice to know what size the axle nut is, hell what size any of the bolts are
