You may want to check the wires inside of the door to see if everything is connected correctly, and also to check for a wire that might have broken inside of the door. Hope this helps you out. Have a great day 1aauto.com
@Tj38111 Is the oil light a low oil level light or low oil pressure light? Reference your owners manual to see if your car has both of these indicators. Easy thing first, check your oil and make sure you have the proper amount. Next I'd say if it only happens on sharp turns it could just be the oil moving away from the sensor or pump and causing a temporary low oil level or pressure condition.
Thank YOU !!! That is not how I was attempting to remove the door handle... This helped soooo much !!!! I just replaced my door speakers, that I was TOLD by a stereo man were 6.5", and they're not (2002 Neon) they measure 6.75" but the holes are AT 7" !!!! Kathy
@Tj38111 Please check out the video response I put up that shows you how to remove the manual window crank. After that the procedure is similar. Thank You.
@theotherJB33 The basics should be the same. you would need to remove any trim pieces that may be holding the door panel to the door. Then use a door panel removal tool to seperate the door panel from the door. We have the tool on our website. Here's a link to them for your vehicle. 1aauto.com/1A/Interior/Plymouth/Neon/1ABMX00050/490220
The door panel is attached with push pins that are on the backside of the door. Here's a link to a window crank removal video that we have. Hope this helps you out. ua-cam.com/video/dnmPVf4KNcw/v-deo.html&feature=plcp
I am looking to apply sound deadener and muffling foam to the door panel in replacement of the current insulation. Can you tell me how the current padding is attached and the best way to remove it? Also, any tips on removing a manual window crank would be very helpful. Thanks!
I'm assuming that I also have to remove the door panel to access the door hinge stop / slide(not sure if I'm referring to the part correctly)? I see where I can remove part of the slide from the door body post, but it looks like the other side of the door side is only accessed from inside the door itself. I also did a search on your site for this part, but can up empty. The vehicle in question is a 2005 neon, drivers door - door stop / slide. a1auto part or dealer part? Thank you
Hi! So I did exactly what you did to take off the door but now I can not get my door locks to work... I know I broke one piece that the driver side door but nothing on the passenger side.. Help!
Hi There, I have an 01 Neon where the driver side power lock is working. The locks work manually so I'm thinking its the actuator. Could you tell me the general location for the actuator and if it is in your opinion a do it yourself job. Thanks.
Thank you for watching. Removing the negative battery cable will disable the Air Bag system so you can safely remove them. Please let us know how the repair comes out! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
Okay, that very last step before you got the panel off..: you didn't explain anything of what you're doing! I'm sitting here trying to find this "clip" and I'm not finding it. Idk what I'm supposed to do to this "clip" once I do find it :(I just think you could have explained that last step better .I'm really bummed that I can't get this.
+Mundus vult Decipi Thanks for watching. Sorry about the miscommunication. You want to insert your putty knife behind the panel and slide it down until you find the panel clip. Leave the putty knife pressed against the clip, then insert the screwdriver and rag behind the putty knife and pull towards you to gain some leverage. This should snap the clip out. You want repeat this all the way around the panel as it';s held in by a series of these clips. We have a special tool that's designed to fit around the clip to make the process a little bit easier. You can find it here: www.1aauto.com/door-panel-removal-tool/i/1abmx00050 . Hope this helps you out and good luck!

@SilverInkStudio I'm not sure. If you go to your local car audio store. I'm sure that they could tell you what you needed.

@innhoster For now the best place to get clips for the door panel is the dealer or salvage yard.

It would be inside the door, usually they are bolted to the side of the door on the inside.

Would this technique work for a 2005 Stratus? Would appreciate any feedback!
Hi,
Do you know what size speakers to get? I'm looking to replace mine, but don't want to take the panel off just to check the speaker size.
Thanks
My 2000 neon reaads, "Door" on the cluster and the roof light stays on. Would that also be regulated from within the door?
Thanks this helped a lot :)
Thank you !
Great video. Thanks.
What if the neon does not have power windows?

How do I handle the front door air bags?

Thanks for the response :)
