Stallone found a director who truly respects and cares about the franchise. Coogler has done all Rocky fans a great service by making this film. It could have so easily gone wrong. Bravo!

Puffy nosed pimp lookin poser stallone, (van damme would kick your ass) U think youre rocky so bad that u try to pose as some pro boxer . why in the hell make a movie on ward, patriotic perhaps? Lol andre ward is a true primadonna and crybaby bitch. A) SoC never took on a challenge outside his homecountry, outside his comfort zone without handpicked officials AKA not a road warrior, all champions fought other champions outside their country in the past.- Makes his own rules ,B) ducking below the waist. C) sucker punching when the ref steps in, D) elbows to opponents face mayweather style, E) ducking below the waistline to avoid getting hit and frustrating opponents F) headbutts like a battering ram (like the notorious leaping headbutts in the kessler fight) when we saw andre get his own medicine against bika it was hillarious seeing him cry after the fight complaining about the headbutts, double standards hypocrite. Froch is the real 168 champion, road warrior he took on all corners , and like i said he always comes back stronger in the rematch. Fx in the first kessler fight (in mikkel kessler backyard) I had froch winning and this is coming from a dane no bias (viking from denmark) it was a draw at best and froch wasnt even giving it all. In the rematch however we saw how froch took kessler apart with relative ease, keeping him at bay with the long jab troughout most of the fight and also hurting mikkel with venomous powershots. Same with groves Carl weathered the storm in the first fight and tko'd groves in the 9th. In the rematch froch annihilated groves without problems knocked him out colder than ice. Paddy ran for the antivenom when he saw how the cobra venomously knocked his fighter back into last century. Im sure froch would solve the ward puzzle if he got a rematch w a proper rereree that enforce the rules of boxing.Andre can drag dawson down no problem but face golovkin at a catchweight? Hell no . bring fighters to his comfort zone to get shitted on w the scorecards and frustrating them w dirty illegal tactics sure no problem but going to nottingham and rematch froch? Out of the question. Even though it would be the biggest fight of his career both money wise and legacy. He is a smalltime primadonna fighting in small half empty arenas while froch sells out stadiums w 80.000+ spectators at the edge of their seats. Andre says he will do this and that but always prices himself out when it comes down to a challenge. I doubt we will even see him fight kovalev . probably gonna pull out w a bogus injury unless they can slip some kind of poison into kovalevs system before the fight, causing sergei to be a shell of his former self. He wont even do olympic style drug testing. Kinda like floyd with his paid off secret commission doing it for him Btw if andre is reading this i will gladly take you on anytime anywhere. (Just allow me a 3month training camp) Im undefeated so probably its better then dragging paul smith up to 172 who already lost twice to shellcrab abraham '.;.;.` fucking poser Lets see if Virgil Cunter and S.o.Cunt has a response. Im sure his diet contains mainly squids and goatmeat since he did perfect his octopus billygoat style of fighting.
All these asslicking mofos get a boner from seeing sly midget ass Lol at his name sly anyway. Loki is sly Sylvester is trying to look sly but he is a monkey w a hat

I see why my wife has been obsessed with this guy for 30+ years. He models his character which is why Rocky is so relatable to people and inspires them. I swear my wife has watched Rocky 1-3 every other month since I've known her - especially when she's going through something! Now she has Creed! Good stuff.

+TwistedSister/Haratiofales It's been a fun ride no doubt. But I just don't understand why his son didn't become a fighter. Now it looks as if the movie has shifted from rocky to Creed. Even though it's still having Rocky in it, it doesn't feel the same to me. But still liking them anyway. I haven't seen the new yet. But I'm sure it will be Great.

his son in the Movie, was his son in real life. He didn't get as big, or musclely as Sly, and unfortunately, he died a year or so ago in real life. Everyone thought that, that was going to be the direction of the Saga, so Sly probably didn't want to be to predictable. May his son Rest in Peace.

I saw Creed today it was Fantastic Sylvester Stallone should get nominated for something he was amazing and Rocky is an inspiration to all of us he goes through hell in every Rocky movie and he always comes back from it many of us quit and don't keep going I had anxiety and I kept pushing forward because of determination and I kept moving forward and today my anxiety is healed a lot and I am a much happier person because of it so if Rocky can do it you can do it don't give up keep going

I am so attached to the franchise,
The first movie "Rocky" was just really a good movie along with Die Hard, or The Dirty Dozen, but, the sequals kept the momentum and energy like no other franchise and Finally,--- "Balboa" ---I appreciated as a Mature, and Intelligent movie on Life. AND that movie set it apart from ALL other Movies with its rich history AND personal familiarity of characters involved in hope and triumph to a real legacy of truth. and this movie CREED,..only adds another layer of commentary on Life and Hope, LOVED IT

I have all of the anthology dvds meaning i have all of the original rocky movies 1 2 3 4 5 and grew up in those days. ive also watched the rocky saga which explains how they filmed rocky 1 2 3 because they didn't have the cameras that we have in today's world. In all the rocky movies it just not a boxing movie had compassion and love in it . I'll have to say that rocky 1 and two was the best . I'm surprised that Sylvester stallone didn't get married to talia shire because of all those years being with her.

I have loved ALL of the Rocky movies!
My only sticking points are in Rocky Balboa.
They should have NOT had Mason break his hand! It diminishes Rocky's ability!
The whole point of the comeback was to show that he had more heart and perseverance than Mason, who was a spoiled athlete with no competition. I was also very disappointed when they recycled the "His ancestors felt that " line.
Can't wait to see Creed this weekend!

Apollo Creed was killed by Drago in Rocky 4 1983 or 1984 so this kid at his youngest would be 30 ? Im sure the movie is great no doubt but Mike B. Jordan looks younger then that , and 30 would be old to be starting to become a boxer imo . Does the movie address this ??

    Creed 2 idea
Clubber Lang (Mr. T) has a son that is a boxer, challenges Adonis Creed to a match. Clubber Lang and son has that relationship like Mayweather and his father. Plus he's still not over the fact that Apollo helped rocky to beat him. Make sure I get my writers credit and a part in the movie.
