quite a number of people comment that Yun Jong Shin isn't a talented vocalist, but I disagree. He's a talented composer and song-writer as well as a vocalist of his own color. Lena Park's powerful voice would easily overwhelm ordinary male partner in duet, but Jong Shin sings with her in perfect harmony.

You will notice that Jong Shin's song, unlike ordinary factory-made balad, do not use the korean word "Sarang (love)" too often. Rather, his songs capture the context in which love in its various forms blossom, letting the listener find himself in that very context.
By vocalist of his own color, I do not just mean that his voice is unique, or that he sings high-pitch, or that his lung holds greater amount of air.. If one focuses exclusively on those technical factors, there are vocalist who are far superior than Jong Shin in those attributes. But combination of talents enables Jong Shin to sing in such a way that he captures the emotion embedded in his songs without exaggerating or underplaying.
