Dominique, you inspired me to chop off my long hair! I'll be 50 in 2 weeks, and I'm going for it... I've been struggling with RA, my hands hurt most days, blowing out my hair has become unbearable, shorter will take the time down on styling. Thank you for always inspiring me! Annie Lennox is my fav by the way... such a beauty! :)
I did the same thing when I was diagnosed with RA in my hands, I couldn't grip a glass, much less a styling tool. Luckily, after 5 years, I'm finally in remission so I'm growing out my pixie into a LOB. Good luck, and I'll pray for you, hopefully you'll find pain relief and remission soon.

Dominique, I finally went and bought Nude Metal lipstick (Lipstick Queen), and I am totally in love with it! I've been wearing a similar Mac color for 10+ years called Sandy B that just got disco'd, and I haven't been able to find anything close to it. This lipstick is actually better, the texture is so velvety, and it looks warm and frosty all day. I'm not having to constantly reapply. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Your recommendations are always spot on!

It wouldn't matter if you had no hair at all - you have such a beautiful face. Every single style you come up with is fabulous. Sadly us older ladies with way more wrinkles than you, and little money for that perfect cut, struggle a little bit. But I love your tutorials, you always inspire me.

I am an 80’s girl as well! I loved The Go-Go’s band too! Their fashion was my go-to-look during junior high and high school years...lol! I loved all four looks! It just that with ethnic hair we can not do too much teasing because of hair breakage...lol! I laughed when you spotted a few strands of gray hair. I have a few gray strands around my front hairline but I have not colored them yet...trying to embrace it first...lol! I might start coloring next year when I turn 48...who knows...lol! Anyhow, loved this tutorial and thanks for sharing!

Thanks Dom. You gave me the courage to blow dry my hair myself. I’ve never sides fully style it that way. Using the flat iron or curling iron helps
You have lovely hair but I wouldn't describe it as short. My present hairdresser (and all the others I have been to) seem to take so mucb off whatever I say. I end up with 4 inches on top reducing to 1.5 inches at the back and sides, and it's blonde and very fine.... complete disaster. Aaaaaaagggghhhhh! I'll try hitting it with my best friend, then, on failure to improve the flat look I'll hit the hairdresser with the same container. Maybe that will work🤣

I've never used pins.or clips or other accessories in short hair but I'm a bartender and need to spruce it up for work. My stylist chopped my hair too shortly and poorly so I'm making due until I can get it fixed. I do love this video btw thanks!

I was wondering if you have ever reviewed the Deva Curl products and technique. My hair is very much like yours, curly with frizz so needless to say I rarely wear it curly. I have watched some other reviews but have never seen anyone with hair quite like mine. These women are typically of African, Middle Eastern or Indian origin and have ringlets while I have frizzy twists and bends.
The 80s were the best! But, how you keep the head band from sliding off (and into the toilet.. true story!). Also recommendations on good dry shampoo. After the second day my hair sticks to my scalp( ugh) menopause!😐
I keep trying your styles, especially with the curling iron but my short hair just does not curl!! What am I doing wrong? I've done it after 2 or 3 days so the hair isn't soft and freshly washed, it has product in it but all I end up with is my ends flipping out (even though I leave them out of the curling iron) and looking daft! I am in the healthcare field field and have been hiding in scrubs for the past decade and due to a recent promotion now I need a work wardrobe thats says Creative but not to funky.
