In my tandem, the same happened, the instructor saw we were about to enter a dust devil, and he managed the situation so well that I was just enjoying the shit at the most. "Fun as fuck" I thought while the instructor was fighting to save my life and his. Can't wait to do my AFF this year 😆
Yeah, he probably would have realized something was wrong when he was speeding towards the ground. He was clueless without a good reference of speed at high altitude.
solo xi It was probably his first time and one gets sensory overload. I didn’t remember to check my altitude and pull my first time jumping. I had two coaches giving me hand signals and it felt like only 5-10 seconds went by when my coach pulled my chute. It was actually about 35 seconds. I never made that mistake again.
Lol the passenger being like "Wooooooo" during the cutaway 😂😂 This is pure gold. Nicely managed one. And then he's holding the main and reserve handles omg hahaha
Mr. Parachuter Pro….. you are truly a “G” for what you did. Your passenger remained completely unaware of the problem at hand. Or at least he seemed unaffected. In either case; WOW… MUCH RESPECT AND I APPLAUD YOUR QUICK THINKING AND PERFORMANCE. Under pressure; most people fold… while only a few focus!!
This is the type of unfolding of events that would be written into a comedy movie: Passenger seems timid but trying to fake enthusiasm. Then passenger sees that the chute opens (unaware that the chute is downplaning) and begins to cry out in genuine excitement. Simultaneously the instructor is starts to freak out knowing he has to cut away. Then the reserve is open above their heads and the instructor has to feign enthusiasm through the residual fear he's feeling.
Tandem Instructors... Worth their weight in Gold... People don't realize how little they're compensated financially. You would think he got a bonus that day. Instead it likely cost him $1-2k.... Hats off
Everybody else knew but the passenger LOL the man flying the shoot did a superb job. It just goes to show what intelligence and professionalism working hand in hand can accomplish !!
Dude could’ve died, and he wouldn’t have been even remotely aware of that fact. Love how the guy in charge kept his cool and didn’t even tell the client what had just happened.
Tandem jump master had his poker face like nothing was wrong and said hold on to this and don't let go as he pulled his reserve chute. I liked it and have subscribed to your channel.
This is why their called Jump Masters. The rider had absolutely no idea that anything ever happened. Should have included the video of them reviewing the recording. Now THAT expression would have been epic. Great Job JM!
The sicko in me watched this expecting to see a terrified passenger creating - but you were so professional that he didn't even notice! Well done, mate! I like people with a disciplined presence of mind. So many people these days are mentally feeble. Panic and create 'cause the battery in their cellphone is dying on them - they just don't know how to live...
Was that a C line over? The right side was elliptical putting you into the spin. Smooth recovery, good job staying focused. Reserve ride log entry puts you in an elite club. Welcome to it.
Dude "alright! Heyyy.. wooo!!" Unaware of what he was getting into while spinning down with main chute malfunctioning, and instructor working the way out. My grandmother always told me that "the one who die with pleasure, the death will taste like glory"
I love adrenaline but I went skydiving when I was 28 after I had 2 kids and it just wasn't fun for me the whole free fall I was just praying open open open open, and like man should be open by now, then poof opened up and then I enjoyed the glide.
I’m so glad that instructor cut away right away. I can’t stand when dudes will try and deranged or try to stabilize. If it’s already twisted just cutaway! Great job! Also think it’s funny how the passenger had no clue lol
Haha, just browsing through random videos and got onto this one. I thought I recognized Patrick in the pilot seat and the roll up door! Ballistic Blondes! Wheyy Davy & Kel
Does no good to let him know what happened until you're on the ground. Doesn't help him when you're up there. Of course, I think everyone understand this. I hope so, anyway.
He had no idea anything went wrong even when we landed. I showed him the video after our jump and he thought it was awesome. I then took his daughter on the very next load! :)
Can someone explain to me how this happened? Did the wind blow the parachute in a funky position? If he was alone, could he have saved it? It was open, but didn't look tangled? I don't know anything about skydiving, insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
Here is a link demonstrating it on a solo/sport canopy ua-cam.com/video/zyOp3teXEEQ/v-deo.html If you pause at the exact right time you can see a big not holding the lines in a bunch on the right hand side as the camera looks up :). I was putting in a very hard left turn to try and stop but was still spinning to the right.
dude thought every second of that ride was part of the show. hilarious
Haha, yeah... he was probably thinking, "Damn, this guy's going all out! Doing tricks up here and everything..." 🤣
In my tandem, the same happened, the instructor saw we were about to enter a dust devil, and he managed the situation so well that I was just enjoying the shit at the most. "Fun as fuck" I thought while the instructor was fighting to save my life and his. Can't wait to do my AFF this year 😆
Totally!!!😆
HAHAHA, he's even got him holding the cord. The tandem has no idea what hes holding on to!! HAHAHAHA
Yeah xD loool
You gotta love how the guy was completely unaware of his potential doom.
Guy would have rode it all the way to bottom yelling "Yahhh!!! wohooo!"
LMAO

Probably better for the instructor that the guy did not know there was a issue..
buddy had no idea he was screwed...... good thing the instructor knew his shit

That smile after the reserve when the instructor knew he had the best footage ever, they were safe and the tandem had no idea. Brilliant! 😂 wow!
I love how he uses the guy as a workbench. Here hold onto this. Don't let go of it.

I'll tell ya later.

Are there usually 2 emergency shoots or just 1 after the cutaway?
@@RenixGames usually only 1
