Whenever i'm reading a Punisher comic book, i have this score playing. I love this score. Is underrated.

I know, so true, for years i can never stop thinking about how he during the shootout he gets shot and it hits him in the vest, he flinches in such a tank but realistic way, tom jane is the best, i wish they'd make a sequel.

I believe they were going to at one point but for whatever reason it was cancelled and replaced with Punisher: Warzone.

@@starblue6tv Thomas Jane was originally signed on with Punisher War Zone, but after it went though serious rewrites and turned into the version we saw, he backed out. He didn't like the cartoony nature of the story and how the character of Frank Castle was handled. So, they got Ray Stevenson instead.

Anyone who hasn't seen the extended edition should. The opening sequence was to have Frank in action back in the war and everyone's favorite part of this song, with the militaristic snare drum beat, was supposed to accent the entire war scene and tie in how Frank brought the war home with him. Much like everything about the Punisher, it was meant to be violent, invigorating, and melancholy all at once. I only wish it was longer.

To me, this song says 'single-minded, relentless vengeance' better than Ramallah's Days of Revenge used in Punisher War Zone. This fits the punisher far better.

I think of this soundtrack with The Last of Us when Joel is tearing through the Fireflies at the hospital, particularly the last 30 seconds of this soundtrack.

They need to bring Thomas Jane back in a tv show where it features an older Frank Castle who reemerges from the darkness to unleash his form of punishment on the scum of the earth, I think the first person he needs to go after is the person who thought it was wise to put Jon One Dimensional Bernthal in his own show as the prolific superhero, the guy is literally the SAME in everything

Really enjoyed this movie, it didn't feel like a Marvel movie, it felt like a throwback to a gritty 70s/80s vigilante movie. Shame it's so underrated, Thomas Jane played a haunted Punisher really well. The soundtrack is also kinda ... poignant at times?

@flaco3188 I couldn't agree more. While Warzone was more true to the comics, Ray Stevenson was a horrible Punisher. Jane portrayed the raw, broken, revengeful, depressed man who is Frank Castle.
