The stream regularly features Lodge owners Brad Owen, Andrew Neeme, and Doug Polk. Players like Rampage, Mariano, and Igor Kurganov has also graced The Lodge Live felt. And who knows? One day The Lodge may even host players like Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, or similarly huge poker names.
0:23 Dealer: “heads up guys” Doug: “gonna be a lot of that today huh?” 😂
I’ll admit that was kind of funny
We need a separate video for all the negotiated hands. A+ banter
Was such an interesting and entertaining match
Patrick, What is a negotiated hand?
@@SethCorbinMusic Bill would negotiate smaller bet sizes from Doug after the fact in exchange for hand information.
What great table talk...two great ambassadors of the game 👍
Bill Perkins is an ambassador of the game? Nah. Just a rich guy that wants spotlight.
@@YouGotHousesWeGotMahomes well damn…
The negotiations of hands was the best part, should’ve shown all of them. Had me rolling
Where did you watch the full match?
@@bannaubrycheiniog1329 live

What is a negotiation of a hand?
This was the best heads up game I've ever seen in terms of entertainment value.
Bill has come a long way, its nice to see him playing well.
Very smart dude and plays with The best all The Time, not surprised at all
He paid for that education, that’s for sure. Sitting with crushers for so long and punt after punt. He still isn’t great but he is pretty good. Wouldn’t want to play him for stacks because he will put you in the blender. You have to be willing to call light against him and know it could be real swingy
It is nice to see but I really fear that we are just going to be basically computers playing now 😢
19:25 my favorite part, “pick a number between 1 and 7” he couldn’t call any faster! 😅😂😂😂
Who did he ask
@@brandonmontealvo5315 He asked the hostess on the couch
I love how Doug is so curious how many of the numbers were calls. Wondering how badly did he get screwed there. That reveal by Bill was hilarious. Perfect comedic timing by Bill. I love it. Both these guys are great at a table together.
19:26 Doug’s mind: “say 8 say 8…. you’re fired”
I love this video old school poker brought me back to 2008
This was a really good session! Good vibes!
I'm only here to wait for Doug's interview of Garrett.
nerd
"Voted most likely to call" and "All of them were calls" lmao what a stream. laughed my butt off.
Wow. Bill Perkins has some serious stones. Impressive.
Like Doug mentioned, it's much easier when money is not a driving factor. Nonetheless, crazy call by Bill. Doug looked uncomfortable.
@@nellydude255 I mean... 400k is still 400k. Yeah losing that pot wasn't going to be an issue for Bill overall, but it is still a fuckload of money. And everyone at these stakes is competitive.
What a weird jam with the 10 7 two pair...
Yep, didn't get that at all
It's a bluff with good blockers
Anyone thinking poker isnt alive and well just read some of the comments, these guys probably in your local 2/5 game, better get the car started
Bill is one of my favorite players jus straight class.. I called for him to win more early in the competition then Doug to figure him out and go on a roll late
Does Upswing Poker's heads up course teach me how to constantly outflop my opponent?
This dealer probably makes so much more in tips than the others lol
Doug threw her a yellow after the bill bluff into his 6’s. Crazy!
Doing big things at the lodge
"Ve both start with a couple of racks. And ve don't stop...until vone of us has it ALL."
I’d like to see Polk vs Eric Perssson heads up
great great show Doug
Hey honey! He called me with Queens!
Bill is fantastic.
Rover shove is Matt Berkey approved ☠️☠️☠️
I love these two.
Food for thought: Both Perkins and Airball are energetic, boisterous, very splashy, and loud`ish. Which one would most people rather watch?
what is that bracelet that both of them are wearing?
I love the "call straight fuck" sequence!
Bill said Doug was like the v-call-a-dictorian
love bill perkins
So who one this heads up cash game and how much in profit ?
3:55..what.
He thought he was enough to shove with that one diamond
1 and 7 😂😂😂😂 love it
Most entertaining 👍🏻
All Doug has to do is hit a miracle ace on the river to get bailed out and then get pocket kings vs AK heads up and then flop trips playing 6 high...
This is what top level pro poker looks like
MOLTEN LAVA!
Man poker is easy when you're a billionaire, I'm going to try that next.
Who is a billionaire?
I think you two and Jungle are the most studdliest fuckin players, absolute units.
Looks fun, but heads-up against Doug is probably -EV for just about anyone else.
Were there rules in place that they had to announce all their action? Guessing so.
I think they just did it to make it easy on the dealers
How does AK run into KK in a heads up battle 😂
I hate they way people pick up chips now ... who started this?
Numbers between 1 and 7 are 3 evens and 2 odds. So it's a 60/40 decision?
Nah he said it was a ruse and he was calling with any number she picked lol
2:10 one of the best suck-outs you can get, i guess. You pay the man and you move on with zero regrets, literally! Just nothing you can do... Only a fool wouldn't call there.
Bill only won $29k?
Doug had already doubled up twice from 100k
is this cash game?
Yes
Nope it’s for coconuts
I don’t like the sound of the chips. They sound like hard plastic and too loud! Otherwise good stuff.
Is Doug still married? Or us she the most understanding wife ever or its fine while the money is rolling in 😂😂
Value-town? Wow...
Есть instagram крупье.Блондинки?
Is this real money?
actually first I win
Total punt, why do that when your beating the guy with value bets and letting him bluff. Maybe if the hand is not four bet and you can over bet river it works often enough, even then seems unnecessary.
Who’s this girl?
Bonk
Is the new style of poker to call and rarely raise. Everytime Doug has a good hand on flop he calls and doesn't raise. Slow play city.
I hope she's Bill's gf or else she's fired 😂
Bill was crushing then Doug got lucky
Doug Polk with his ‘swingers’ ring in plain site. You go boy - way to advertise
Is the lodge to poor to buy good paper cups for having tea?
Bill over here culturally appropriating cowboy hats now...
That’s what’s crazy about poker. In a 6 hour session, Doug made one bad play, got stacked and dominated the rest of the match only to lose overall. One mistake can cost you
Not a mistake. Just variance
@@matta5749 variance? He bluff shoved in like a $700k pot😂😂😂
@@trevor3575 are you implying that it’s inherently a mistake to do that? Lol. UA-cam comments moment
@@matta5749 lololol this dude is serious 😂😂
@@trevor3575 youtube comments moment
all in on 2 pairs was stupid...yolo...
says someone who has clearly never played heads up poker lolol
I never will figure out why Doug Polk is considered such a great player.
Probably because he's a great player
Yeah what's the guy done other than win multiple bracelets, crush live games, and be arguably the best heads up players in the world.
one of the best
because you are a bad player. get good and it will be very easy to understand
I thought Doug was a heads up master!!! He just got beat by the biggest Donkfish in the game!!
Imagine thinking 350 hands is enough of a sample size to draw a conclusion from.
@@Kanders190 Was gonna type same until i saw ur reply, also these idiots not giving Perks enough credit crack me up, he owned Tice in their challenge for the most part and has had plenty of coaching due to that and a few other HU challenges
Look at the little fan boys getting butt hurt!!
Ah ok, your of the special variety, I wont troll back in respect to your condition, may you live a long prosperous life due to the bad hand life dealt you
This is boring
I thought Doug was a good player
