Had this phone since October, easily the best phone I've ever had. Cameras are great, battery life is great, and the display is gorgeous. Samsung did an excellent job with this phone.

Android 16 and One UI 8.XX will be the last update to S21 and the S22 series.

Without watching the video yet, and having the s21 ultra, yes it's very worth it. The camera is still fantastic, it runs very smoothly and the screen looks fantastic
The reason why this phone is best to get if you're getting an old android flagship is it's coming from Samsung and all the cool features Samsung give to their new flagship phone will make way in it. This phone im 2023 will be nothing short of S22 Ultra.
I LOVE THE PHONE. FIRST I BOUGHT THE S22 ULTRA AND SENT THAT RIGHT BACK. THE 21 ULTRA IS BUILT LIKE A SHERMAN TANK AND TO ME IT JUST LOOKS BETTER. FINALLY REPLACED MY 4-YEAR-OLD HUAWEI MATE 20 PRO WHICH WAS AN AWESOME PHONE

Got the Samsung 21 ultra 128 Gb for £480 refurbished. I Waited for the price to drop from march time when it was going for around £600. I upgraded from Samsung s8, this is in another level completely . The perfect phone and think I got for a bargain price👍.

I totally agree with everything you said on this video.. the s21 ultra is really a fantastic phone ... the battery easily lasts the whole day,, great cameras too.. man I love this phone
I've had this one (exynos variant) afterusing z fold 3 and s22 ultra for a month each. I have settled down for this one for some reason. Battery way better than s22u, performance comparable if not better, and cameras pretty much the same. Never missed the spen functionality.
I agree with everything in this video, bought mine at launch from local BB and it has performed flawlessly. Still no hint at battery degradation or slowdown, battery lasts all day plus.
Signal is great on ATT phone is an absolute tank, dropped it several times with Spigen liquid minimal case and no scratches, never used screen protector at all and the display is beautiful.
I see no reason to upgrade this year at all, maybe s23 but who knows? Updates are regular and frequent with new features and enhancements most of the time!

I guess it’s the shape of the phone. I love the shape of the s22 ultra but it would be nice if it was available in another shape, like how the s21 ultra looked.

@@nitzerbep no it wasn’t. Snapdragon was easily way better, especially in terms of camera performance/thermals.
I exchanged my note 20 ultra to s21 ultra... i got tired of the boxy type.... now i am with s21 ultra and i just cant let it go....s22 ultra did not make any appeal to me maybe ofcourse due to its boxy type plus it didn't make sense for me to upgrade....at all... ican use the s21 ultra for 5years or more.... i still have the s8+ anyway....do you see where i am going?😃😃😃
I bought the S21 Ultra just 2 months (in December 2021) before the S22 Ultra was released and I was able to immediately update to Android 12 from 11.
I just got the S21 and I’m loving it!

@@miricervenova4653 Na mobil pohotovost se dají koupit použité S21 Ultra 256gb od 12 do 17 tisíc podle stavu. Mám od nich Ultru a nemůžu si stěžovat, kupoval jsem jí tam za 20 tisíc když stála přes 30. Jinak mají na mobil pohotovost dost často slevy a různé akce. Před měsícem jsem tam koupil Galaxy Watch 4 44mm za 4 tisíce s Galaxy Buds Live zdarma, což byla nabídka kterou nabízel přímo Samsung skrz některé obchody.
Easily Samsung’s best phone of the last few years. The sacrifices the company made for the S22 lineups just weren’t the correct ones. They should’ve bumped the S21 Ultra into a better phone. Its the reason the Apple formula, if boring, still works. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Right before the s21 ultra launched i was debating get the s20+ really glad i waited!!! S21 ultra has been my favorite phone by far, i love the look and design of it a lot. Been an awesome phone to have planning to keep it for awhile too. Not really a fan of the s22 ultra dont like the squared corners on it or the camera layout. Hoping the switch it back at some point.

I just bought this phone today because my Galaxy S10e seams are separating. It arrives Friday. Got it renewed on Amazon in excellent condition for $509. Really looking forward to this phone.

Them on Amazon are renewed phones .. Basically second hand phones refurbished..Brand New still proper expensive at £900/1000

Got the base model s21 ultra at launch and it has been my favorite phone that i've ever owned. Only real issue i've had is with some calls echoing on the other side. People I call sometimes say they can hear themselves twice. I feel like it's a software issue but i'm not sure. Other than that this phone has been amazing.
Do you have a case on? Sometimes the case causes it, try removing it and mkaing calls, or keeping a basic case, not something heavy duty
One thing I will say as a long-term user (I bought mine on pre order from Samsung when it first launched). The battery life is awful. If I enter the device care settings the battery health is still at 100%, but I have to charge it at least 2 times every day. It's a battery drain issue that has been well documented in the last year. Didn't use to be bad at launch, but somewhere along the line updates have destroyed it's battery life.
Do you perform partition cache wipe after every software update?

This is strange, I was originally concerned about this but after I got the phone it has been great for me.
I've never cared for QHd display so I use 1080 and let battery management control the cpu speed.
Also I don't play high res action games nor use it to stream movies but I do watch a lot of UA-cam, music etc...
Could it be a defective battery?

Great device it's my daily driver even though l own a S22 ultra and iPhone 13 pro max...one of the best looking phones I've ever owned...it is sitting in my 2 spot all time right behind my beloved note 2...

I have the S21 Ultra, exynos variant. It is a solid phone, but the Snapdragon version is better. If I had the SD version, I would not consider switching to another device. However, I will keep my eye on the S23 Ultra and the Iphone 14 Pro Max.

my little sister broke her iphone 11 pro, so I loan her my s21 ultra, 2 days later, she fixed her iphone and gave it to me. Her exact words "I do what want" I'm glad I didn't lend her my s22 ultra.

The only thing I don't like about this phone is it gets micro scratches very easily as soon as I took off screen protector. I knew I should've put another one on soon but I waited to late and now micro scratches everywhere smh 😞

If I had one of the S20 models, I would probably get the S21 Ultra (I have the vanilla S21). Only thing you don't get is the S-Pen. I really don't see a need to get the S22 Ultra.
The ultra is for the note users. The s pen, the extra cameras, the camera features
The normal and plus are made more for the every day user

I should have chosen an S21 Ultra instead of the S22 Plus but since it's no longer in stock here and it was the Exynos version, I guess I'll be okay with my phone. I hope it'll last me for more than 5 years like my Oppo F5.

I'd get the S21 Ultra 512 GB. I traded mines back to Samsung for the S22 Ultra because of the built-in S-Pen. You can't beat it. An up to date flagship for half the price. It's a great device.
@@tyricehicks5944 I bought the note 20 ultra but when I'm ready to upgrade that'll possibly be the upgrade. I got the s20 ultra as my daily driver and the note as my #2 behind it now. But whenever I upgrade that's one off choices.

Something must be broken, possibly the laser auto focus part. I advise you drop it off at any samsung store around you.

I have only ever owned Samsung android smartphones. I can say with confidence this is a real POS. I have had it for over a year, and I'm constantly having issue with apps, updates, and everything else.
