@@huskydogg7536 Really fascinating history. My late husband used to stop there to cash his paycheck on his way home. He worked all over the state as a union pipefitter.
Thank you. Came around your place last week, didn't expect to find you there since it was a Monday. I've been very busy for a couple of weeks, but will give it another try.
@SevenLlamas I think you may not have driven far enough or turned the wrong way at the intersection. Bucoda is a small town across the railroad track, but it has more than 3 buildings, and there is a sign next to the track. The most noticeable building is a two story community center. Thanks for watching.
It certainly is. I never get tired of learning new stories about my state. There are so many of them to tell and share with my friends. It's funny how many people live in one place all their lives and never think of inquiring about how places came to be. Thanks for watching.
Wow Granny who would have thunk Bucoda had so much history. Been 50 years since I've been downtown, larger than I remember.
Thank you, lived in WA for 70 years and didn't know Bucoda existed. Subscribed!
@huskydogg7536 It was always one of my favorite small towns to visit. It has such a fascinating history.

Thanks for posting the historical photos too.
Thank you.
Love the small towns and history you share with us. 👍
This one was a lot of fun. We really enjoyed meeting the nice people in Budoda. I'm glad you liked it.
I miss living in a small town. This one certainly has an interesting history. Thanks Granny.
There are a lot of little towns along the RR lines and this one really made a big impression on me. Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
This is a great video!

Me too. Thanks for watching.
@@LetsGetFitt Hello Sandy.
Have driven past Bucoda a handful of times on the way from Lacey thru Tenino to Centralia. Thought it was 3 buildings at an intersection :)

We make the drive to Bucoda periodically. We especially enjoy going to the park and picnicing next to the river.
I live here too since 2010

Thank you.
